I fucking love "Different Class" and I want to know if there's anything else of theirs worth hearing. Also, does anyone know what the band's up to now?

The album they released just before 'Different Class' is called 'His n Hers' and is brilliant I think - deffo worth getting. They also did 2 albums in the 1980s 'separations' and 'freaks', which I also like, but admit are something of an acquired taste. Their last two albums I don't rate personally - I find This is Hardcore unlistenable, and thought We Love Life was distinctly underwhelming (tho I know people that like it). A class band though - wish they'd reform

Man, I wish I got to rediscover Pulp all over again. Yes, the album that preceded Different Class is called His N Hers...it is more of the same type of stuff. Pink Glove, Have You Seen Her Lately?, Babies, and Do You Remember The First Time? are some of the 90's finest moments. I agree with scarf about We Love Life and Hardcore---they both have some GREAT songs...but not as consitent as the previous two. Separations is a STRANGE album. Many of the songs have to do with death and the music is really cheesy at times---but very dark and unique. "Countdown" from this album...as well as the title track..and She's Dead are among their best tracks. Have fun with this amazing band!...oh, and as for Freaks...it is kinda a mess. You may want to download "Master Of the Universe", I Want You, and Anorexic Beauty from that album, though.
