Blur are scheduled to perform their first live show of 2003 in New York this month, dotmusic can exclusively reveal.
According to the listings of the city's 550-capacity Bowery Ballroom venue, the band will headline a show on Sunday, March 16 at 10.15pm.
Tickets, which were also advertised on a number of independent ticket sites, are already sold out.
The New York gig - the band's first live performance since the departure of original guitarist Graham Coxon - will precede a previously announced performance at the Coachella Festival on April 26.
Meanwhile, it's been rumoured that Blur will headline one night at this year's Reading Festival, though a spokesperson for the group was unable to confirm this report, or the NYC date.
As previously reported, Blur's five-night residency at London's Astoria theatre (May 8, 9, 10, 12, 13) sold out in less than two hours last weekend.
The band's highly anticipated new album, 'Think Tank', is released in the UK on May 5, with the new single, 'Out Of Time' die to reach stores on April 14.
