Robbie Williams, currently celebrating a No.1 album with 'Escapology', has added another date to his biggest ever live shows after tickets to his Knebworth gigs sold out in just seven and a half hours.
He was already booked to play at Knebworth Park in Hertfordshire on 2 and 3 August, but he'll now also perform on 1 August.
Tickets for his 2003 summer dates went on sale on Saturday, but demand was so high he decided to add an extra day.
Robbie beat Oasis' nine hour sell-out record for the venue for their pair of concerts in 1996.
All the tickets for his Edinburgh shows also went in two hours

ROBBIE UPSTAGES OASIS Robbie Williams will shatter more records when he performs before more than half a million fans. The singer is due to play four consecutive concerts at Knebworth Park with at least 125,000 fans expected each night. Robbie last month netted a record-breaking £80m deal with EMI. The concerts, expected to make the superstar another £5m, will mark the beginning of Robbie's biggest ever world tour, the Daily Star reports. The concerts will be the first to be held at the famous venue since Oasis - led by Robbie's arch-rival Liam Gallagher - performed there in 1996. Insiders say that the rivalry was a huge motivation for Robbie when he agreed upon the venue. "Robbie is obviously getting back at Liam by playing the venue that gave Oasis their biggest triumph - but playing to even more people," one source told the paper. "It's a way of showing Liam he's now the number one rock star." Robbie's tour will be announced at a news conference in Germany on November 18, and tickets for Knebworth are likely to be the most sought after for 2003. www.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30500-12161845,00.html

bastard. He`s only playing Knebworth to try and out do Oasis. Which he never will. Oasis could of sold Knebworth out 10 times over
And besides, the Knebworth gigs were`nt just about crowd sizes and tickets sales, they`ll be remembered for ever for bigger, more important reasons. Something Robbie will never be remembered for
