Full version because that's the way the artists wanted us to hear them.

honestly, i don't like listening to inna-gadda-da-vida 17 minutes through...
i think it depends. for example, i prefer the radio edit of d'you know what i mean over the original. gets rid of all the noise and gets right down to the song. i'd rather listen to the song, not the excess before/after it.

Pretty stupid question, it's got to be the real deal. What especially pisses me off is when they edit songs that are under 5 minutes! Anyone else notice that Radio 1 take about 10 seconds out of Invincible by Muse for absolutely no reason?

One Love by The Stone Roses is the only tune I listen to edited down.

Full version. Radio edits are crap. Full version, if it's rerecorded in studio to tiddy up for radio play i have no issue.

What a bizarre question. Who on Earth would actively prefer to have less music in their lives?

Obviously radio edits serve a purpose and I have no problem with them (if Oasis had been more prudent with single edits on Be Here Now, there could have been a lot more rotation after initial hype, for instance) - but I can't imagine ever choosing the radio edit over the real song unless the full studio track is in somehow overly indulgent.

Full version. Radio edits are crap. Full version, if it's rerecorded in studio to tiddy up for radio play i have no issue. A full version of a song should be played on the radio from start to finish. Absolute Radio did a radio edit version of Champagne Supernova and it's absolutely crap and completely spoils the song.
