Any other songs like this gem you can recommend from BDI or Oasis?

Elvis was fantastic but when he started Elvis sang cover songs. Indeed. He didn't have people writing for him. He did. Though not on the first album of course. www.elvis-history-blog.com/elvis-songwriters.htmlIn my view, Elvis then had his career hijacked by career opportunists and at that point, yes, he started performing company songs and, in my view, his output went down hill fast. He never made an album that matched his first one or his Sun Records music. From Elvis in Memphis, 1969, #190 on Rolling Stone's Greatest albums of all time. And it's a brilliant record, #190 is too low IMO

As You Were since it's the reason I've started to look into the Oasis catalog. I've seen the official vids for HFB but nothing grabs me :/

Thank you all for the warm welcome, I've bought a few more tracks (Beady Eye mostly) and I should be receiving Time Flies by Wednesday !
Still can't seem to warm up to Noel's stuff unfortunately

I really dig this song, bought it on iTunes. It's not some artistic masterpiece but it's catchy and makes me feel like dancin'

So thanks to Youtube I can say I would love if he'd do The Roller, Flick of the Finger or Bring The Light but from what I've gathered it seems Beady Eye was a bit of a flop so I can see why he wouldn't want to add it to the setlist.

I got an older version made of cord. In the early days, the Lennon Jacket (that's how they called it for years) used to be a Black Label item, had a nice interior and the quality was much better, then they moved it to Green Label and in 2014 they started making the stripped-down versions they still stell today. So, unfortunately nowadays it's just a shadow of its former self. Damn guess I found out about the brand too late. I might buy a cord version of this jacket tho, I could never find anything like it here in south Texas.

I’m here because of Liam so he wins I did check out WBTM on YouTube but I’m just not taken by Noel’s voice. Holy Mountain is aces and Fort Knox sounds great when working out tho.

Thank you all I’m not quite a teen, just turned 30 this year ! What part of Texas you from? Also thanks to YouTube I’ve heard most of Beady Eye and NGHFB. And I caught Supersonic via amazon prime last night. Down the rabbit hole I go !

Hello guys and gals!
Just a quick rundown, I’m not a huge Oasis fan, matter of fact I just got familiar due to loving Wall of Glass (it was shared on a music forum I frequent). After hearing some more of the tunes I bought the deluxe version of As You Were and have been working my way backwards.
I’ve not yet sampled much of the albums but have bought a few tracks on iTunes (“don’t go away” is my favorite so far) and I just ordered the 4 disc version of Time Flies.
Hope to post some more and delve further into the catalog !
