Everytime I listen to Definitely Maybe I think Shakermaker is a very odd choice as a 2nd track. I think it kind of kills the momentum built by Rock 'n' Roll Star and slows the record down. I still like it though and I would go crazy if one them would play it live now but I don't like it's placing on the record. I always kind of thought Bring It On Down should have been sat there. Swap those two tracks. but it's hard to quibble with an album as good as that though. Bring it on down would be great there.

]It's such a weird album. It really works as a piece of music and as an album. But the songs sort of all seem like filler. Yeah I feel the same. I enjoy the album as a whole (it would be a 7 for me), but it doesn't have any stand out tracks for me (maybe Fort Knox). So I almost never listen to separate songs from it, I listen the whole thing from start to finish and I enjoy it as a piece of music. same here

Stewart Copeland is arguably the coolest guy in music ever. Also did the soundtrack to the Spyro video games on the old PlayStation back when I grew up. Great great drummer too - better than your Keith Moons, Bonhams etc. As for The Police, I like them but I can say I’m a fan. Got their ‘best of’ but even then I just listen to a handful of tunes. Every Breath You Take is a masterpiece to be honest. He's really good but better than Bonham? Not sure about that. No one is better than Bonzo. Although Reni will always be my favourite drummer.

I've written about them on this forum before, but I can't be bothered to try to find those posts, so I'll keep it short: I despise them with every fiber of my being, and I cannot wait until they're gone. Unimaginative wankers would be the kind words to use. Edit: I did look it up. live4ever.proboards.com/thread/84004/bands-thoughts-day?q=Van+fleet Exactly my thoughts.

He isn't saying he didn't, just that the song relieved the pressure on him to write more songs for only a week. He's admitting to being under a great deal more pressure when was in Oasis than he's admitted to before. It makes me wonder if leaving Oasis was 50% because of the guitar-ducking and 50% pressure. If he isn't back on the hard stuff, then it's marijuana. Other than the hard stuff, that's what is currently on the radar for US customs. He’s definitely mentioned smoking with Holmes when working on WBTM. X Can't remember him saying that. 🤨

The Who will do a new album! One of my favourite bands of all time. Their last record is from 2006, so it's been a long time. Can't wait for it. The Who haven’t really been The Who since Keith Moon died. Now half the members are dead. And those are big time missing members. It’s not like Bonhead, Guigs or Alan leaving. Of course it's a different band now but they are still awesome. Endless wire is a good album.

1. R Kelly
I'll be honest with you, I didn't know R Kelly prior to this year. I had heard the name of course, but I couldn't name a single one of his songs. Now, however, I do know him - as a serial child rapist and sexual deviant. The recent documentary "Surviving R Kelly" is blistering and horrible, and when you add in the video of him cheering and laughing about it all, you realise there's no way anyone could be a bigger loser than this man. I hope he goes to jail for a very long time, and you know what? I still can't actually name one of his songs. How is it possible to not know 'I believe i can fly'?

Last time they kicked off again in March and went through the summer, but the Zutons are doing gigs in April now, so maybe this is just a run around the festival circuit. Yeah, and they would probably support NG`sHFB (Russ Pritchard is a member of both bands so that would make sense) Pretty sure he tweeted that he won't be part of the reunion

I'm getting massively into the Who since the start of the year. I haven't seen them live and would really love to. Especially as most bands I really enjoy are long gone before I've had the chance to see them. I'm hopefull they will do something next year as it will be 50 years of Tommy. Are there massive who fans on here? I don't see them mentioned on here that much. Anyway, my question is:
I've seen lots of videos of their latest tours and shows and it seems as at most concerts it's all seater. Is that that really the case? I haven't seen that before.

Thanks to this thread I now have an urge to listen to all the Led Zeppelin albums again. 4 is obviously their most iconic and it is terrific. My personal favourite is Houses of the Holy. Not that keen on "the crunge" or "no quarter" but every other song is one of my favourites. Led Zep 3 wants to be chosen first. I've not heard that one in ages. The Crunge has probably one of the best drum grooves ever. Zep 3 is actually my favourite Zep record.

I think Columbia is in some ways Tonys attempt to sound like Reni and he does it well. Can't really remember if he said something about this in his book.
