Heavy, raw sound. Drumming is immense. edit: newer vid Who is the new drummer? Sounds ace. Did they fire the old one? That's Joey Waronker. Played on the album. Brilliant drummer. Drumming wise Liam's albums have been very bad most of the time. The difference a strong drummer can make to a song is huge. Just look at Everything's Electric which has the best drumming on a Liam solo track. This last Liam & John album is by far the best Liam album from a drumming perspective. Loving it. It only would have been topped if they could have got Reni out of retirement.

Just payed a stupid amount of money to see The Who live and it was mesmerizing to see how the band connects on stage. There were some technical problems but they managed to work through it. Pete took the lead as always. Pure magic to see one of my musical heroes up close.

I don't mind the direction they have taken. I couldn't get into Tranquility Base but enjoyed The Car.
However I wish they would stop playing most of their old stuff to be honest. It feels so weird whenever they switch between newer stuff and songs off of their debut album. It does not fit well together.

Rammstein: Who would have thought that the guy writing rapey poems could be such a creep 🚬 With benefit of hindsight true.

Was wandering if the Till Lindemann story is actually much covered in the UK? It's obviously pretty big news here in Germany.

Has anybody received their ticktes for Glasgow yet? no nothing yet. I was assuming they wouldn't get sent out until a few weeks before the gig? Thanks, glad to hear. I live in Germany, so i was kind of worried they got lost on the way.

Go read his autobiography then. I wasn't being serious about the book, there. The lack of a book isn't actually the bad thing about paying for child porn sites and returning to them repeatedly. As I said, read his autobiography. He explains why he did it.

Go read his autobiography then. He was buying access to child porn websites to research...his own autobiography? He explains the whole situation in his autobiography.

The Gallaghers are known as the biggest knobheads in rock music, but I'm still waiting on Pete Townshend's child-porn book he was so thoroughly researching. Go read his autobiography then.

I love it. It has such a chill vibe. Probably my favourite album of the year so far.

Alen 'Reni' Wren is the greatest drummer of all time (in his prime). Thank you, I fully agree. It is kind of my life's work to tell everyone how great Reni is. Shame we probably will never hear him again.

Has he played ‘Gone’ on this Tour yet? Sounded epic on the Soundcheck clip that Bonehead posted on Instagram. I thought with them playing it at MTV Unplugged it’d be a mainstay in the Set He did. I think in Aberdeen?

For me I love Arctic Monkeys's debut and am largely indifferent to everything after. Especially the last one. I am biased though as WPSIATWIN was one of the first albums I properly got into. I had a CD-R of it that I burned from my sister's iTunes... how things change! Rage Against the Machine are getting back together. I really, really hope they come to the UK. Glastonbury?

Liam is nominated for Best Rock act at the EMA's. Normally I'm not bothered with that kind of awards but my missus has won tickets and I kind of hope Liam makes an appearance. I know he probably won't win though as he is up against the 1975, Panic at the disco and their army of fangirls. If you're thinking I'm watching this massive pile of crap called EMAs just to see Liam play a song and get his Rock Icon ... you're absolutely correct.

Did he join the Who for My Generation ? No BTW The Who are not playing My Generation in this tour. While their gig today was pretty good, Roger Daltrey's voice is in tatters, so I'm not sure he'd handle My Generation anymore. Roger had bronchitis and they had to postpone some shows. At Wembley his voice was on top form.
