Lockdown seems to have chilled LGs tweet, his digs at NG are more comical now.
Anyone else agree?
Perhaps it's because he's been half cut for the last three months !

Good to see Liam selling well. It's fair to say the various versions of every release are helping him out though. CD, standard vinyl, splatter vinyl, Amazon signed etc. Liam and Noel both know exactly how to milk the fans nowadays! I just bought the signed vinyl, which I'm still waiting for. They learned this the hard way after the Country House fiasco!

Mine arrived on Saturday (Only a day late! so they are improving, the official store I mean) Haven't compared it to the MTV Latin broadcast (imo the best source), but it seemed to lack something for me which I don't rememeber thinking when I listened to the bootleg I think the difference is the crowd sounds

igotflairDo you know why there is so much confusion and different dates? Presumably it's an Amazon issue rather than anything at LGs end.

Signed Vinyl - 2nd July release Source? Amazon email. I'm hoping it's still the vinyl signed and not a separate print.

I have come to the conclusion that I absolutely cannot stand any version whatsoever of I Am The Walrus. Its awful and annoying on The Masterplan and whenever I put a gig on where I know it finishes the gig, I have to end it before. This is an awful opinion!

I love Brian Jonestown Massacre. Woke up from my friends' couch this morning while they were playing Strung Out In Heaven album. What a great way to start your day I don't think I've even heard this one but it already sounds like a classic to me, love their discography. I'm a big fan of BJM. Their output is magnificent. They released three albums in one year in the 90s. Check out the documentary Dig! If you haven't already. Doesn't put Anton in the best light and he's has mellowed a hell of a lot since then but you get an idea of how he crafts music - he's a genius !

love it but wrong to have the first Oasis song in 10 years sung by Noel just like those re-issues - so many Noel acoustic, a SHAME. I'd imagine there is quite a lot of Liam stuff in the vault, might only hear it when some sort of anthology is released. I would be happy with the studio version of I Am The Warlus. Or Sad Song. Or Step Out.

It's a demo, but not just Noel with a acoustic guitar. Released as an Oasis song
Why is the Oasis logo not the classic logo? Same Oasis logo as on the Columbia white label demo - the first ever release and potentially final release share the same logo!

I think he has announced it now as a boost to the NHS staff currently working this awful situation.
It will happen when it happens.

Very bizarre to 1) do the interview in the first place and 2) release it now baring in mind what's happening in the world.
'Though she’s not easily cowed, she tells me she’s nervous; this is the first time she’s agreed to talk about her life. Had it not been for the recent escalation of Liam’s war of attrition, it’s unlikely she would be meeting me now.'
It strikes me that she hardly spoke about her life it was a very powder puff piece. Has LG really escalated it recently?
It also bizarre that she is worried about the boys reading about nonsense online - and then does her own article to add and surely fuel the nonsense.
If you really wanted it to end and you couldn't ignore and block it out the best course of action would be to go legal, quietly without announcing it.

The problem is that many NHS workers have children, the last thing we need is them having time off to look after their kids. You also have the issue of grandparents having to look after them, the ones we're trying to protect the most. Its a tough situation to manage. The uk government have announced a £330 billion intervention to help businesses which is very good news. All the schools/kindergarten/primary school/high school/uni/college in The Netherlands are closed until 6th April. All the children must stay at home, but our government made an exception for people who work as medical staff, fire man, police, teacher, transport driver, people working in supermarket. Their children are allowed to go to school to be taken care at school while the parents are working. This is the scenerio the UK adopted today. Seems sensible.

Anyway Noel is a liar, I still remember He said Oasis will never split up in 2000s. Liam said the same thing in 1997, and he was the one that split the band up. Incorrect kiddo.

Jim daviesh welshylad / anyone else Are you aware of anyone setting up a custom vinyl order of this? If so please add me, if not I’ll buy the hi-res and organise my own as I need this on vinyl so bad. Not heard anything but wouldn't be surprised if someone was not already organising this. I shall reach out and see if anything is happening. I take it you've not heard of any official release?

To be fair LG dumps all the songs that you would traditional consider for b-side material as bonus songs on deluxe editions of the albums. LG has always been pretty generous with content in my opinion. That was only, what, 3 songs with As You Were? I’ve always thought his physical singles were completely pointless tbh. You get an etching instead of music as the b-side? Seems to me to just be a way of milking collectors. Personally I only buy singles and EPs if there’s new music on them. Which Noel has been fairly good at. There’s still an element of milking with the different colours and picture discs, but generally there’s been new material at least. I’m not intending to single Liam out for criticism here. Just using him as an example of a wider trend. I’ve not done the maths but I’m pretty sure Noel has been more generous with b-sides and bonus tracks. These EPs are all bonus for me, we could’ve just been waiting for years for the next album instead! X I don't wanna start a Liam vs Noel debate - as they are always tedious. But its not a bad output from two albums: Three bonus, and three live songs from Air Studios for AYW. Four bonus songs from WM?WN. And now we have the 8 track Acoustic Sessions mini-album. I do agree about the etched b-sides. Annoying. But both brothers milk the multiple editions - as does Oasis with last years anniversary vinyls - seems to be the modern method of milking the cash cow. Perhaps losing to Country House with their two CD singles had a lasting effect! haha.

Nearly - one cut at the end after Cantona enters the limo and LG is swaggering around to the drivers door. But yes very impressive long take

What a hypocrite! He changed his opinion over the course of 22 years! What an asshole! He’s still giving us songs as b-sides in addition to the remixes too. Which is pretty rare nowadays. Plucking a random artist out of the air for comparison: I believe Liam has released zero songs as b-sides to date. X To be fair LG dumps all the songs that you would traditional consider for b-side material as bonus songs on deluxe editions of the albums. LG has always been pretty generous with content in my opinion.
