I'm not totally satisfied with my vocals, like you pointed out before shakermaker, not enough reverb on my vocals. And I'm trying to get a real solo going on in the instrumental part of the song as it's indeed kind of boring to listen to. Oh by the way, when will you do the vocals on Stand By Me? I'd really like to get that one done as well ;D

Oh, and original tracks are on the way, but we still have to figure out which ones are suitable for the other to sing...so in the meanwhile we do covers but originals are on the way!

I made a cover of this great song with SuperSonic. Again, I'm responsible for all the music. Though I'm not totally sure if it's completely done, it's ready enough to post ;D savefile.com/files/4255546Hope you enjoy it!! - SuperSeb

A x02220 A* x02120 A7 x02020 D xx0232 B7 x21202 F#m 244222 F#m* 243222 F#m7 242222 F#maj7 243322 F#7 242322
Play the D chord a couple of times and then:
Fill? e|-----2--5-2--3--4---- B|-----3-------4--5---- G|-----2-------3--4---- D|--0------------------ A|--------------------- E|---------------------
Then it's
A, A*, A7, D, B7, F#m, F#m*, F#m7, B, Fill 2x
then "You're asking me how my love grows"
F#, F#maj7, F#7, B, E, F# F#, F#maj7, F#7, B, E, A, Fill
I hope this helps!

Intro he plays either this: Em7, Dsus4, D, Dsus2, D or this: Em, Dsus2, D, Dsus4, D Need it little time to rest my mind (D), then a B7 like chord x21200 Then the "Weeeeelll" part: Em, D, A7sus4, use C/B as transition to Cadd9 Hope it's clear enough

Michelle, my belle Sont les mots qui vont tres bien ensemble Tres bien ensemble I need you, I need you, I need you I need to make you see Oh what you mean to me Until I do I'm hoping you will know what I mean I love you. Solo I want you, I want you, I want you I think you know by now I'll get to you somehow Until I do I'm telling you so you'll understand Michelle, my belle Sont les mots qui vont tres bien ensemble Tres bien ensemble And I will say the only words I know That you'll understand, my Michelle. I will tab it out more accurate some other time as this was just meant as a reminder of how I play it for myself, hope it helps a bit copy and paste in notepad should work?

Thinking of Beatles songs: Something (in the way she moves) is great as well. Blackbird as well. And Save Tonight by Eagle Eye Cherry, good song as well and if you can pull it off play Michelle (beatles again).

Yesterday - Beatles, great to play on an acoustic as well, tune it down a whole step and play it in G (but it's in F actually) and then you can easily play Strawberry fields forever after that (or before)

You might want to tune it down a whole step so it's in F instead of G
Chords: G^ - xx543x G^2 -xx4430x G^3 - xx343x
Intro: G^, G^2, G^3, Am, Am/G, F, C
Let me take you down...blabla : C, Gm, A7, F, G, A7, F, C
Verses: G^, G^2, G^3, Am, Am/G (or just Am7...do whatever you like), F, G, C, C/B, Am, Am/G, F, C
if you want I can do a tab later this week.

Thanks for the replies! As for the higher notes; the main "problem" is that I still have to think a bit of how I should play the chords and how I should change them, so it influences the singing a lot, as I progress I will learn to play the chords as I play them on the guitar and singing will be better Cool that you both like it!!! Thanks again

I was just recording some stuff while messing around on the keyboard and I was playing and singing Hey Jude and I thought that it'd be fun to just post it here as it failed after the first bridge. And maybe it's nice to hear what it's like how people actually sing without any fancy touch ups and reverb and retakes and stuff like that ;D I haven't been practicing keyboard a lot lately (and then I only have the damn thing for almost 2 months (and 4 weeks of that time I have been away) so it's not brilliant or whatsoever) so my playing isn't all fluent at some places. Now I'll stop making excuses for how bad it is, because I don't think it's actually THAT bad...what do you think? I hope you'll enjoy it ;D - SuperSeb s5.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2P61HMY0MT557145POU3SWU4AF

I will finish it as it's one of my favourite Oasis songs, thing is, I'm leaving tomorrow and when I return school will start so I have very little time the next 2 - 3 weeks, but I'm going to try and see if I can get it done a.s.a.p. I want it done as well

A while ago I recorded a couple of old songs again. This one's called Get Yourself Together (Man)!! and it was the first song I wrote with an intro and solo, so I kept those as I made them up when I wrote it. As for the little outro, I was just messing around ;D s43.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3PVD11AVFTBIS2T8MWBHH523ZPHope you like it! - SuperSeb

Okay, let me get this straight: A long time ago, I was having fun with ripping off the drums from the original track. Then I recorded electric rythm guitar over that. And then I had so much fun doing that that I wanted to do lead over that as well. And only after I recorded I was wondering how even the lead guitar could sound so much like the original as I don't have any pedals or whatever. Anyway, I found the recording and I sent it to Supersonic, he sang over it and there ya go, a cover. And of course a cover can be your own interpretation of a song, which can either really mess it up or make it just a good as the original or even better (Wonderwall) or maybe just an acoustic version of it? But a cover can also be done as a tribute to the original, so you're trying to stick as close to the original as possible right? Ah never mind It's late, the booze is getting to my head now so I'll call it a day I guess....never mind what I just said

I took the first drum sample from the original song. Then I looped that sample and I recorded guitar over it, so that's the story behind the music

I am pretty satisfied with the result Shakermaker! ;D Although I think my vocals could have been a little better in the beginning, but whatever, it's fine like it is! I might try to add the strings if I find out how.........any more comments?
