Which Oasis tribute act to go and see? The Noel Oasis tribute or the Liam Oasis tribute?

Call me a dick but I just don't feel right using a fucking Noel instrumental for the intro. This is wrong, man.

OK, so Liam's written TWO songs for his solo album. Not sure if it's a good or a bad thing. I actually think that he might have been "forced" by his new label to do some co-writes. Marketing-wise Liam's still a huge name, but Warner Bros wanted to play it safe and not let him release weak material. Probably something like: "Look Liam, you've been singing other people's songs for your whole life, why not giving this Adele guy a shot? He's a top lad, he even wears a fucking Kagool! You'll be a perfect match." Liam is the male Adele. :-0

5years ago I got pulled aside and held for taking prescription meds into the Barras after being frisked. The security guard didn't believe me they were legal and was giving me "aye right". Then he went away (probably Googled them) came back and apologised. Shit story.

Keep searching "Liam Gallagher" and "Ha Illegal Gram" on Apple Music, only to be confronted with If I Had a Gun... "Siri, find me a decent artist".

Be nice to give people three minutes to go and get a drink, though. Lol, yeah. Just like The Good Rebel during the first solo tour.

He just said he's thinking of playing She Is Love on the next tour. Would be interesting to hear a version of it! Playing SIL live would be a low point of Noels career.

Crazy we're going to get both Liam's debut album and Noel's third only one month apart from each other. Interesting times for the forum are ahead, for better or worse. Can't believe we don't have any solid information on the tracklist or soundscape of the album. Since he just said it's ready to go, expect a summer single release as carlober said, and a 2nd single by September. I know the question on everyone's minds is which record will eclipse the other in sales and get more limelight - Liam or Noel's? I don't know about sales, but my prediction is that Liam's album is gonna go down better on the forum and with Oasis fans in general. Liam's record will probably sound more Oasis-like, while I have the hunch Noel is gonna do a Weller on us. Nah, Noel will give us his usual dad rock sing a long stuff and with Liams album we'll be hunting for a chorus. :-)

If there's no big chorus and that's the big comeback song, Liams finished. Oh... I see now. You're just a hater trying to make himself feel better by annoying people online. My bad... I mistook your opinion for an actual opinion. Fair enough. At least I now know to never respond to you again. May your next shite be a hedgehog my friend, much love. Jesus man, chill. Have a pint, its Friday :-)

It really isn't man. I'm a guitarist and songwriter myself and if that's the chorus then I'll be monumentally surprised. What was it Liam said about is songwriting? Something like "my verses are great but it's just that next bit I struggle with" The next bit, the chorus, is what these songwriter people specialise in. It's literally their vocation. If I'm wrong I'll delete my account and never post here again. Not that I'm some voracious poster on here or anything but I'm absolutely certain man. Think about what Moyles and co. said. "Its... It's really, really good. Like... really good." Do you think they'd say that if what we've heard is the verse/chorus/verse/chorus totality of the song? No. We've basically heard a Beady Eye song. The catchy, moneymaking chorus is yet to come. And I think it'll be great. If there's no big chorus and that's the big comeback song, Liams finished.

That is NOT the chorus. The extra bit we've heard from the studio is the bridge. It finishes on a 'leading' chord, inevitably to head back to the root chord of the key for the 'big' chorus. That is basically the sort've roots of a catchy chorus, you use a building chord before inevitably turning to a high note on the dominant chord in the key. I am far from the master of it but i guarantee you that after the second bit we hear it returns to the root chord with a rather high and uplifting melody. Probably the best person in history at doing that was Noel, and he just had a gift for it naturally. These songwriters that write the big pop songs are also gifted at it; though they tend to be somewhat formulaic and probably understand 'why' it works better than Noel. Noel just happened to be one of those natural talents. Either way, that's not the chorus. That would be the chorus in a Beady Eye song. And it would sound okay for a while... But see that feeling you get when a song goes "*Sooo* Sally..." or "And I *WAAANNTT* you to knoww..." or "Some*DAY* you will find meee" or "Cause *MY* friend said he'd take..." or "I *LIVE* my life for the stars that shinee..." These are the high notes that are the focal point of a catchy melody. The guys writing Liam's songs are masters of this, as Noel was. It may turn out I'm wrong and I'll hold my hands up but I'd ve extremely surprised and I'm sure that we've not heard the chorus yet. It's the chorus.

It's been a fucking mess, no doubt and only shows the disaster the Brexit negotiations will be. Whether Corbyn can actually do enough to win though..... probably not (unless Russia decides to help out).

It think the second clip contains the chorus. I can imagine the verse melody coming in straight after that clip ended. Hope I'm wrong... Neither clip contains the phrase "Wall Of Glass" though right? Pretty sure that'll be in the chorus... Where's the 2nd clip?

Don't think this has been posted yet? I honestly think Debbie has changed Liam for the better. He's still the same guy but all his interviews in the Beady Eye period he seemed really anxious and covered it up with anger and trying to look cool. In these written interviews and particularly in that video there he just seems really calm and grounded. He seems like exactly how a Liam Gallagher comfortable in his own skin should be. Not, the ex-Oasis guy having to prove his worth, just genuinely a man content with who he is and what he's doing. I'm sure there's more to it but I guarantee Debbie has had a real positive influence on him His Tweets suggest differently.

I'm pretty sure that they add some inaudible echo to the songs that is unique to that specific copy of the album that a particular person receives. Because the watermark is unique, if the album were to leak from one of the promos, they'd be able to tell who leaked it. Bingo. For my album, before I have my producer his next payment, I asked for the initial mixes. He put a reverb effect on the drums. Inaudible? because you haven't paid for it?
