Richard Fearless as a producer (or remixer if Liam wants to stay on the rock n roll side) would be great. The last two DIV albums were outstanding. Another idea would be Liam as a guest singer like Sasha Grey on "Transmission". Indeed a totally different direction but just WOW. soundcloud.com/drone-out/death-in-vegas-your-loft-my-acid-live

Anyone waiting for release day or have waited until now to hear BOTH AYW and WBTM? Waited for AYW on vinyl, didn't listen to leaks or Spotify. Will do the same for WBTM.

Playing Oasis songs, especially Noel written ones, was always going to be a big misstep. I don't see why it is okay for Liam Gallgher solo to play them but not for BDI. Those are the songs most people know and want to listen to on concerts. See Pink Floyd without Roger Waters. They were far more successful than him between 1987 and 1995, despite the new albums were weaker than the old stuff and they played a lot of his songs. Waters only recovered in the last couple of years because the other three stopped touring under the Floyd brand and he's mainly playing old Floyd stuff and is basically marketed as the new Floyd whereas Gilmour is basically a solo artist who also plays Floyd stuff. So they basically changed roles. Same could have happened for BDI. Beady Eye is a lame name and unknown brand for the majority of music fans. Always gonna be a tough go. This!

It would make a lot of sense if he released a EP or mini album around the time of the stadium gigs. Indeed, that would have been a nice teaser and the audience would have been better in singing the new tunes. The time between the first gigs and the album was way too long.

Those 42.42 remixes are great. This! They should have been put out officially. To show Noel how to do a remix album right xD

If Noel was honest, he'd have to share as many songwriting credits for his upcoming album as Liam did. That's a bit of an overstatement. I wouldn't be so sure. Noels album will have 13 songs credited to him (japanese deluxe), Liam's had 15 (deluxe) of which only 2 were completely written by others and one, Wall Of Glass, was cleary aiming for a hit (thus so many writers). If you substract these songs from AYW and add some credits for Holmes on WBTM every now and then, you'll have more or less the same situation for both albums. To be fair, I'll have to listen to it completely, but Fort Knox i.e. sounds like a Holmes tune to me.

I opted to make my own t-shirt for the Toronto show instead! My friend and I will be wearing them. You should be selling them as well, there seems to be a market

Just acknowledgement he has actually written songs would be a start. Noel is talking as if hes not done any of it. Maybe Noel wants people to think that. If Noel was honest, he'd have to share as many songwriting credits for his upcoming album as Liam did.

Imho, Beady Eye wouldn't have sunk if their name was "Liam Gallgher's [insert whatever you like]". Most of their tunes were decent and on par with the output of Oasis after 1997. Certainly not worse than NGHFB, especially CY.
Other than that the selection of singles wasn't great and I'll never get their choice not to play Oasis songs on concerts (they corrected this later at least a little bit, but at that time it was already too late).

It’s very basic, not much thought gone into it at all. The only stuff that looks nice is the card game (which I don't need). The rest of it is really just cheap standard merch and every print could easily be changed i.e. from Liam to Noel.
