In March or April 1996 I would have thought. They did a short American tour split in two parts

2000-02-01 MTV Europe Acoustic set with Noel, Gem, Alan and Mike Rowe. Who Feels Love and Sunday Morning Call
Never understood how Gem allowed someone to attach a camera to his guitar with black gaffer tape! I believe he is playing a vintage Epiphone Frontier 110N. Mike Rowe is using the Novation Bass Station for WFL but it appears to be attached to a effects pedal unit, you can see it at 0:03.

Here is a copy of the tour itinerary for the European leg of the SOTSOG world tour May-June 2000. You can see photos of the pages inside. I imagine the plan changed a bit when Noel left the tour on 20h May following the fight with Liam in Barcelona www.ebay.co.uk/itm/304642367727Mikey Howard, the lightning guy. I love how they slagged him off during gigs when he screwed up again. He must've been fired after the tour? A short interview with Mikey Howard, the lighting guy, as part of the oasis: behind the scenes documentary.

I remember at the Leeds Festival gig at the end of August 2000 Liam and Noel wanting him to put the lights on the crowd before Rock n Roll Star, they gave him a bit of a hard time. From 1:12:14 1:12:34 Liam - “lights dickhead” 1:12:47 Noel stops the song and asks him to put the lights on the crowd I never picked up before that Noel played the Fleetwood Mac - Oh Well riff at the end of the Cigarettes and Alcohol/whole lotta love bit at 49:30

Happy 30th anniversary to the ferry brawl! …the good old days! Can you imagine a band doing that today? Can’t see your coldplays or U2s getting involved in that 🤣

Edit: What do you mean they "Already recorded the B-Sides for All Around The World" and "The Red White And Blue"? Now that's interesting... During the Rockfield sessions Noel played AATW and DGA on acoustic possibly some other BHN era songs as well. This is referenced in an interview with Owen Morris which appeared in the official oasis magazine from 1996. There was no mention of the song the red white and blue. I would have thought Owen Morris would have recorded them more as demos than for use as b sides.

It’s a really good gig isn’t it, some real energy and passion behind it Yeah, I agree with you and I still listen to it now and again on YouTube when I'm listening to oasis's concerts on there. I don’t think the Leeds Festival gig is really that well known amongst the fans. It was quite exciting at the time as there were rumours the band were going to break up that night on stage as it was the last gig of the tour, hence Noel’s, “this is not the f@ king funeral” comment. I remember listening to it on BBC Radio 1 that night. Sadly I think they cut GLIO and WFL.

There’s been no mention of clothes in this thread yet.
Any thoughts on Liam or Noel’s clothing during this era? Always thought Gem looked the part. Liked the t-shirts he wore, the RKID001 big brother T-shirt for the Jools Holland performance and a blue Mooks Hyenas 66 t shirt a few times (GLIO TOTP, WFL video). Not seen it available on the internet.
Highlights could be : Liam’s blue denim jacket with Elvis TCB patch on the arm Light blue Wheeler End gentlemen’s club t shirt worn by Noel at the Ancienne Belgique, Belgium gig Green jacket worn by Liam on Jools Holland TV show The band wearing hats at Eurockeennes Festival; Belfort, France Noel’s blue Adidas Jacket worn in the interview in Japan The long Burberry coat worn by Liam during the performance of ICSAL on the Late Show with David Letterman The flowery shirt worn by Liam for the Rock in Rio gig Noel vintage training jacket worn for the Glasgow Green Festival, Shine On Lennon Tribute show The red leather jacket worn by Liam for the Q awards The black coat worn by Liam on the Big Breakfast Show
I would add photos but I don’t know how to

carlober have you seen this? Proud Mary playing on the Ralph Little Show, BBC Choice. I think the guitarist is Paul Newsome. It looks like Noel has lent him his Epiphone Riviera Matsumoku guitar. You can see the little Man City sticker on the pick guard. I can be seen at 0:50 Now that's a great find... I'd never seen that clip before. It is Noel's Matsumoku Riviera indeed! Which year is that? Some more information about the Who Feels Love video Taken from the oasis podcast interview with director Nick Egan podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-oasis-podcast/id1224373139?i=1000501246700He states the video was filmed over 3 days in Death Valley. Liam sang the song at double speed which they slowed down in post production to give the slow motion feel. I think Coldplay may have done this trick on yellow and Fix You. The band stayed at a hotel in Furness Creek, possibly The Ranch, which had a strict no jeans dress code in the restaurant! The crew stayed at a hotel in Stovepipe Wells.

Does anyone know any more information about the where did it all go wrong video? Not see anything on the internet about it In the oasis you tube page it says the release date for the video was 29th February 2000, 2000 must have been a leap year. I think this date is wrong. The single was released on 27th March, seems a bit merely to release the video. I’m guessing it may have been filmed in the first few weeks of January. On 27th January Noel’s daughter Anais was born so it is likely he had two weeks off after that and then after this time there surely wouldn’t have been enough time to film it before its release at the end of February. This article says the band filmed the video in the UK redirect.viglink.com/?key=71fe2139a887ad501313cd8cce3053c5&subId=1258801&u=https%3A//www.mtv.com/news/o9um9u/oasis-shoots-new-video-kicks-off-tour

I wonder if there was a gap in the schedule in January and February as Noel’s daughter Anais was born on 27th January. Maybe Noel had a couple of weeks off with his family. Perhaps. They typically took Christmas time off in all previous tours but as you point out, so maybe they just blanked out the whole month of January and February knowing the rough due date to avoid having to cancel anything for Noel to fly back to the UK. It's a bit odd that they did those warm up shows in the US and then didn't play another gig until the end of February in Japan. They did record the Jools Holland special in the middle of February, so I suppose that they were at least still rehearsing for the upcoming tour at that point. During January 2000 the band were rehearsing at Music Bank North Studio, Bermondsey, London Simon Halfon took photos of the band while they were there, you can buy a print here nemperor.com/shop/ols/products/oasis-music-bank-london-2000You may recognise the studio in the link, they had been using it on and off since 1996. SOTSOG era promo videos Who Feels Love Filmed in Death Valley, California believed to be sometime between 8th and 10th December 1999 Director Nick Egan Band stayed in a hotel that had a dress code, no jeans! The Oasis Timeline Project on X (Twitter) had the recorded date as 10th January 2000. But I think they must have shot the video while they were in America for the December warm up shows. There seems to be a suitable gap in the schedule between 8th and 10th December and they were in California as well. On 5th they played at The Night 89x Stole Xmas, Cobo Arena, Detroit, MI, then between 6th and 7th Noel, Gem and Mike Rowe did some Radio promo in Canada. The band didn’t play again until the 11th at KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas, The Pond; Anaheim, CA mahsteve I think that you may be on to something here. They made a habit of recording videos in between tour dates, so this date range makes more sense. The video was not released until April 17, 2000, so both time frames work, though the dates closer to the gig in Anaheim makes more sense. There is a huge gap in their schedule in January and February 2000, but knowing how much they hate making videos, there's very little chance that they would have flown all the way out to CA just to film it. I am going to update the timeline to show this one as in debate until we can find something that references the actual filming date. I wonder if there was a gap in the schedule in January and February as Noel’s daughter Anais was born on 27th January. Maybe Noel had a couple of weeks off with his family.

the SOTSOG era gave us this, theres really nothing more to say Well said.. here..here!! I remember it being played for the first time on Lamacq live show, BBC Radio 1, I was blown away! Faith was restored after all the negativity post BHN. Strange how it’s so well thought of yet Noel and the band have barely ever spoken about it. Andy Bell has mentioned it a few times but that’s it. Do they even realise how good it is?

Arguably one of the best sessions the band ever recorded for radio 2000-1-20 Evening Session, BBC Radio 1, Maida Vale Studios, London RNRS, WFL, SMC, Talk Tonight and My Generation Produced by the band Engineered by Paul ‘Strangeboy’ Stacey and Simon Askew Protools engineer Jan ‘Stan’ Kybert assisted by David Treahearn Mixed by Mark ‘Spike’ Stent Keyboards Mike Rowe Additional backing vocals and backwards guitars on My Generation Paul ‘Strangeboy’ Stacey Simon Askew was the BBC Maida Vale session producer David Treahearn began his music career at Olympic Studios in London in January 2000, where he worked until 2007 as an assistant engineer to international Producer/Mixer Mark 'Spike' Stent. The cover of the The Who’s My Generation from this session was eventually released in 2002 as a b side on the Little by Little/She Is Love double A side single Noel and Gem had appeared on Lamacq Live, BBC Radio 1, a few days previously on 17th January and as part of a fan competition had to pick a cover to perform in the session they would record a few days later. The choices were: Robbie Williams - Angels, The Who - My Generation, Rolling Stones - Sympathy for the devil and Nirvana - Come as you are. No Beatles songs were allowed. Noel “picked at random” My Generation, which was lucky as the band had been rehearsing it all week! Full info here with photos taken by Simon Halfon. www.oasis-live.net/shows/2000/2000-01-20
