I usually read the forum by just checking "Recent Threads," and then clicking "New" for the new posts in threads I'm interested in. However, if I don't check a thread for 6-8 weeks or so, "New" just takes me to the very beginning of the thread, rather than the most recent unread post. For the big threads it can be annoying to go find my spot, especially if they've been active or I haven't visited in a while.
Is there any way that I can change this behavior, so clicking "New" always takes me to the new thread? Is there a setting I can change, or something?

Unfortunatelly it does as far as I'm concerned. I recommend to click "recent post" instead of "recent threads".

Scroll down to the bottom on the main page, then you'll see "Recent Thread" and "Recent Post".
