I'm not a big fan of the singles, but there's plenty for me to love on this record. The River is a personal favorite. It's just an absolute monster of a song, especially live. Halo is a banger. Alright Now and Meadow are good songs with interesting arrangements. Misunderstood and Glimmer are lovely melancholic pop songs. I also really like the unplugged version of Now That I've Found You.

Probably his strongest collection of songs. It’ll outsell the other albums over time IMO (if it hasn’t already).

Not for me.
"One of Us" is fantastic and there some other enjoyable tracks, but the bulk is far too "radio rawk" for me.
His debut is still the one album he's done to feel like it had an organic Liam presence to it, in my opinion; the rest feel like different algorithms being plugged into the Radio-X-Track-Generator with varying results. At least the third album plugged a few more colourful bits of code in there - Why Me? Why Not. feels uninspired even in that aspect, aside from some heavier moments like "Gone" or the title track. And the worst moments go beyond uninspired to being unbearable; I fucking despise the "hey!" moments in "Shockwave" and the entirety of "Now That I've Found You". Overall, it's not a bad record, but it leaves me with the feeling of slightly flat, warm lager. A recipe that was recently fresh been left to laze in the sun without enough refreshment.
Apart from this one beacon of everything I'd love Liam's solo career to be!
Swirling, driving, enigmatic, emotional, inspired. That's the atmosphere I want.

One Of Us should have been the lead single in place of the horrendous Shockwave. One of the very best Gallagher tunes of the last 20 years.

Hasn't had tunes as good since sadly.

My favourite by a long shot, the only one I like as an album to be honest. One of Us as mentioned above is brilliant and the best thing he's done.

You could do a thread like this about every Oasis related album after the first three and have them all have the following -
Still my favourite since DM Soulless, lifeless, dad rock crap Love most of it but dunno what they were thinking on the last song Still think it's got some of the best stuff on Time hasn't been kind to it My pet hamster died as I listened to this so it's a personal favourite even though I realise it isn't their best

Definitely my favourite of solo work. I don’t find there are many fillers if at all on the album.

It's his best solo album, although at the same time I think it lacks the authenticity that As You Were had. I think AYW was Liam going into a studio with a handful of songs he'd written that needed polishing and working alongside others to write the rest of the album. Then they realised they were onto a winner and looked to recreate and improve on what worked well, but with much less input from Liam. Then COYK was like Liam written by AI - 'write a ballad in the style of Once and For What It's Worth', 'write a catchy, radio friendly rock song for Liam Gallagher' etc.
Barely listen to AYW now though whereas I still like Shockwave, One Of Us, Once, WMWN, Gone etc.

All seemed a bit rushed after As You Were, which makes sense considering its success.
The Kursten-written tunes are nowhere near as good as the ones previously.
However Once is probably his best solo song, and The River, whilst initially a bit underwhelming on release - is a good little live number that Liam really nails quite a lot of the time, surprisingly considering how many high notes it has.

It’s the ”What’s the Story Morning Glory” of LG’s solo career for me.
Most memorable anthems, crowd pleasers, and my favorite LG songs so far including Once, One of Us, Why Me Why Not (song), Misunderstood, and The River.
