Yes it is Here Noel talks about the Black Keys Collab, 3 tracks done in a week. Wouldn't be possible without working on WBTM with Holmes. And is open for more in studio collaboration. 👀 mossy

Album 5 hype thread updated 🫡 He also says he wrote so much material during the pandemic the next couple of albums are already written 😂 Says he wrote 3 bunches of songs during the pandemic: - Traditional HFB songs which became CS - Stripped back acoustic songs - Stadium rock songs 🏜️ I cannot believe Dave cut Noel off and didn’t ask the obvious question when he said that!! Fairly disparaging comments about Liam later in the interview though, so probably best to not get the reunion hopes up too much 😂

Errm, I've just a quick click through the interview and I'm quite surprised that no one noticed or mentioned it yet, because my jaw literally dropped - the infamous acoustic session in which Slide Away made its debut to the world is included in here (from around the 32:00 mark). A definitive upgrade to the cassette bootleg that is circulating. There's always been some debate about when this session was actually recorded but we can now safely say that it's been before the release of DM. Anyway, please, would anyone be so kind and rip that portion of the broadcast?

That wouldn't have been this RTE interview, which was shortly before the album release, the first known performance was that Signal Radio session around the time of the Supersonic release.

Says Liam believes in the tooth fairy, isn’t a reliable witness, calls him disingenuous over the Twitter reunion stuff and regarding the time Liam sued Noel when he said Liam missed a gig due to a hangover, “the boy protesteth too much”… Re an Oasis reunion, trots out his usual, “it would take an extraordinary set of circumstances” line. 🦷

Yep, it's not nice, but it's not the worst thing he could have said. They're both going to play verbal tennis until someone breaks, or a business guy shows them a very big number!

I’m not so sure, given he’s already talking about his next acoustic album and wanting to work with Holmes again after that. Time will tell.

I would like the two albums instead of a reunion please Yeah me too, I’ve loved Noel’s solo career so far and the snippet we’ve heard from the acoustic break up album sounds great. His talk of writing a stadium rock album here is the first thing I’ve heard that’s made me think he’s actually considering an Oasis reunion. He’s said many times he’s uncomfortable solo in large venues and prefers theatres. Why pursue stadium rock songs if not for Oasis? I get a bit excited at the thought but then remember he’s just put out Easy Now as a song he thinks sounds like Oasis and compares to The Masterplan! (I really dislike Easy Now. It reminds me of For What It’s Worth in that it sounds like it was written for a marketing demographic rather than having any real emotion in it). So yeah, gimme the acoustic album, the Holmes album and the lost AA album over a filthy lucre Oasis reunion with cheesy songs. Now, if that stadium rock album is actually good though…….

The one thing I’d consider for an oasis reunion is an 11 track album written entirely by Noel with him singing one song and Liam singing the other ten. Nobody else gets to even mention the word “writing”. Even one Liam written song is a massive deal breaker.
