So been a while....only tracks I listen to are Wave, Joker, Cmon You Know, don't go halfway and I'm Free....
Has this album stood the test of time?
Seems to have more staying power the why me why not.

Personally I still love it but I'm also not surprised that it's the worst selling of the three albums, the amount of promo was pitiful

I was just listening to it the other day and marveling at how solid it is. Only two tracks I skip out of the whole thing, which just about never happens.

Everything’s Electric will stand the test of time, for sure.

The Liam album I’ve listened to the least by some distance. EE is my favourite solo track he’s done and Better Days, Diamond in the Dark are decent but rest is poor.

I do think it is a great album and I have to give credit to Liam for trying something different. As Sadie said, the promo for this album was pretty bad honestly, probably the main contributor to it not selling well. Better Days, More Power, The Joker, World’s In Need are the best tracks in my opinion

Not for me. I like just 2/3 tunes.
It's the worst Gallaghers related album, imho.
I prefer by far the two BE album over CMYK.

I think its aged quite well. WMWN may have higher peaks with songs like Once, but overall I find the two albums are on a similar level. I still find tracks like Everything’s Electric, Moscow Rules, Better Days and More Power to sound fresh. The experimental approach also holds up well IMO, sort of like a better version of BE.
So I’d say less than AYW but about the same as WMWN. In hindsight it doesn’t help that it was somewhat overshadowed by the Knebworth gigs.

That's exactly my problem with it, the promo for the album WAS the knebworth gigs. It was like the whole strategy was 'ok I'm playing these huge gigs at knebworth and by the way I just so happen to have a new album out'. I completely understand the significance of them but imo they should never have focused that much on the gigs instead of the music itself

I still love the album and listen to it sometimes. But yes, the promotion for it was poor compared to the other two albums. It was a bit silly to just promote the Knebworth gigs more than the album and I hope that the promotion for the next album will be a lot better.

Easily the worst of Liams solo albums, but still good if that makes sense. Why me why not, is definitely his peak.
Off topic, I wonder if Liam will release a fourth album anytime soon, didnt seem too excited promoting this last album nor played too many songs off of it live, he doesn't seem too motivated and he tweeted that he was only doing 3 solo albums before...

Even though I think As You Were is a better album overall, C'Mon You Know might be my personal favourite. I feel it flows consistently, the quality is decent throughout its 12 songs (I personally don't think there's any bland, generic numbers in the likes of I Get By or Be Still, and its best songs are great), and the experimental touches are really nice – I'd love for Liam and The Team to go all the way down this path, but I don't think that's ever gonna happen either. Lyrically it could've been much better though.

Put it on today for the first time in ages and its pretty damn good still. Too Good For Giving Up has power. Its aged well, flows beautifully.

TGFGU is the only song that I come back to, sadly. Whereas WMWN has at least six or seven songs in regular rotation.

A handful of songs stick around for me. IMO, I'm Free is probably the low point for me, kinda cringeworthy, honestly. It just feels like a bit of a disconnected album. Like they had to have SOMETHING out to make Knebworth work.

AI writing songs for Liam for the third in a row. Of course it didn't age well. Completely pointless album, you can't get away with it forever. I don't think that I can remember more than 3 songs from this album.
AISIS is better.

Easily the worst of LG's 3 solo records, but I would probably take it over both Beady Eye albums, the Noel EP series and Heathen Chemistry. It's not awful, but painfully average with very few highpoints.

I find this a really difficult question to answer.
At the time when this album came out, I wasn't expecting much after hearing the title track (C'mon You Know) worrying it sounded too "Beady Eye" and that's where the album was headed. When I listened to the full album, I was really surprised, because not only was it not Beady Eye at all, it was really good, consistent, different, and the opposite of safe (in Liams world anyway).
In fact, I enjoyed it on first release more than any other album Liam has put out. His voice was great, the production was better than WMWN, a bit softer and cleaner, more natural. The songs were subtle but strong. There was inventive but genius stuff like "Moscow Rules", then very liam-esque songs like "I'm Free", and absolute tunes like Diamond in the Dark, More Power, and World's In Need.
However, the week after it was released ended up being a really terrible time in my personal life. And now I can't listen to the album without being taken mentally back to that time, which is a shame, because I still think the album is underrated, and great. Not loud and in your face like the others, more like subtle and enjoyable.
For the reason above, it's not weathered well for me, despite really enjoying it. But in the greater public, I think it hasn't weathered well due to lack of marketing, and also because it was released at Liam's peak (Knebworth) and was the wrong album for that time of his career, since it was less safe.
