I'm not sure if this allowed to be posted here but Im going to try and clean up some audience recordings of gigs, only for my personal ammusement. Apart from obvious things such as having audacity. Does anyone have any tips or tricks? In particular im looking for a way to isolate instruments and reduce some audience chatter. All thanks and appreciation

isolating instruments etc is a big ask.
isotope RX is a great easy to use but pro-level tool (and er, findable) it's best to mess around with it but it's great for reducing hum from recording gear and transfers, and for isolating certain other 'noise' and getting rid of it.
for 'mastering' izotope ozone is another pro-level programme, infinitely adjustable and also with some great presets. ultimately you can 'capture' the eq curve of a track and then adjust others to sound similar (in fact this aspect was taken out of newer versions because it allowed home users to get spectacular effects and when the company got to the point of getting top pro mastering engineers to endorse it they wanted it removed!)

It's a science, and a very hard one

Thank you for your responses it was based on wondering whether the techniques used to restore the off air soundtracks for missing Doctor Who episodes (recorded in a similar way to most audience recordings) could be used to restore live oasis audience recordingd
