When I listened to the new and quite decent Stones record last weekend I was thinking I'd like some of these vibes on Liam's new record. Check out the song they did with Macca for example. If Liam want a more RnR vibe compared to C'mon You Know that wouldn't be a bad direction. Would also fancy another collab with Dave Grohl as EE was a proper and cool single which suited Liam pretty well in my opinion.

I'm sure Squire will bring that raw rock-blues influence that I'm hoping for. I also hope that Liam's voice sounds wooden like on DOYS rather than plasticky like on his solo albums. If all this happens, the combination should be incredible.

Is there actually an album with Squire or is it just a rumour and Liam is playing along?
Either way i don't even know now interested I am in that.
Squire hasn't been much of an interesting guitarist since about 1990. Since then it's mostly him trying to be Jimmy Page but at least Page was tasteful. Squire just started noodling all over songs.
Not sure how interested I am if its Liam singing on top of Squire blazing his way through scales as fast as he can manage.
If Squire actually got back to writing good songs and melodies then it could be good.

Squire had a third album in the can that was never released and as someone else point out the music was fine but his voice is honking. Would have expected him to have stuff written for the Roses and I’m sure I saw something that said he’d been writing lately. Liam probably has some tunes and ideas as well. I’m inclined to think it will be a disaster 😂. Having Kurstin involved in a producing/director capacity gives me some hope though, if that’s what he’s been doing.

So according to Stop Crying Your Heart Out the new album is out in the spring so I wonder how many singles we'll get before the album release.

So LG & JS is released. I love it personally.
But has there been any further talk about solo album 4? Is that still due this year? Or do we reckon it's been put back a bit due to LG & JS?
Liam's work rate since going solo is incredible, so I wouldn't be surprised to see it release this year.

He's got the DM tour this year, next year likely the WTSMG anniversary tour, plus a second album with Squire on the way, I don't know when he could slot in a fourth solo album this year with an accompanying tour...

I hope that his next record will be Liam Gallagher again. Not a big fan of the john squire one.

I can't imagine Liam just leaving his solo project altogether. My guess is that they shake things a little bit if COYK didn't meet expectations, but Liam solo will continue in parallel to Gallagher Squire.

the plan was simple: one album let's see if it works
if it doesn't
- back to manufactured music
if it does
- another squire album
Its working.

You now its imported from China right ? Its killing the environment. They put that cheap manufactured music in big cargos that are polluting the oceans. + people who produce that manufactured music are not being paid enough and they get credits for their work stolen. their boss simply add their name to the patent. Just like that. Squire music is locally grown, family owned since the 80s. It doesn't require an army of chemicals that literally adds nothing to the end product. Greta Thunberg hates you.

No point in talking about Covid, Fake Liam Gallagher has been in activity since 2017. Manufactured music goes back a long way, even before the Pyramids. It was first painted in caves, by those Reptilian cavemen.

Liam's work rate since going solo is incredible, so I wouldn't be surprised to see it release this year. I would love Liam's next release to be solo album #4 since it would probably feature Nothing Nowhere. He's pretty busy this year, so I wouldn't expect it so soon, but you're right that Liam's work rate is incredible and who would have thought that his album with John will be released so quickly, so who knows! I know there has already been talk about Liam and John doing another one together, but let's be real, Liam solo is a bigger draw to the general public and his collab with John is seen as a side project to the masses. I talked to some people about this collab and they were all saying "this will be successful and have great sales, but obviously not as much as just Liam solo". Mainstream/commercial success isn't everything, we (people of this forum) probably all agree with that, but I do wonder if it's much of a factor to Liam. In the end it's down to Liam and what he wants to do. John loves this project with Liam and is already working on more songs and while Liam seems to enjoy this collab, too, he may also be keen to work on other songs for his next solo album. And of course one thing doesn't rule out the other and Liam can do both, so that takes me back to the question of when we could possibly get Liam's next solo album and if Liam would prioritise a solo album over another album with John

Somebody should ask Liam on X if he's going to continue doing his solo albums with his army of song writers as well as working with Squire.
