Couldn't see a thread for this yet, I'll give my thoughts when I listen later today.

Solid 6/10 for me. Nice and well-produced album track.

I'm somewhere between a five and a six on first listens.
The production is gorgeous, feels lush and warm in a way that the last album didn't to me, which was quite rushed-sounding. Not here, this feels like the full and complete product. For me, though, this is a perfect example of why I'd love Liam to work with a songwriter rather than hiring a songwriter. This is a great foundation for a Liam Gallagher song, with sweet chords and a solid verse, but then it gets to the bridge and winds out of ideas. Doing that means it never quite has the chance to break into a different dynamic musically, so it just treads water in those first ideas for too long, until there's a tangible feeling of "...Where is this going?". The arrangement does a fucking outrageously good job of adding elements to keep things fresh (brass, backing singers, all great) but it's hard to escape the feeling that they're forced to do that because of the lack of quality songwriting. I think I'm settling on a five. It's fine enough. Everything's Electric has grown on me massively, though, and my first opinions almost never end up being my final ones, so this whole post was a waste of your time, really. Soz.
Everything Electric - 8/10 Come On, You Know - 5.5/10

Two other random thoughts:
- Surprised to see how high it is in the tracklist. Has more of a late-album feel to it.
- Those A Moon-Shaped Pool vibes with the twinkling piano effects are a vibe I did not expect on a Liam album.

great album track, weak single, not sure how one bit will be sung live. A very 'Liam' song as it's pretty good without having a chorus (see boy with the blues etc)...

I can tell you one thing, it's not coming home. I think you jinxed it, Liam. It's a 5.5/10 for me.

Hello Beady fucking Eye…. What absolute bullshit, 3/10 This album is going to be terrible. As much as I think its uninspired and exactly what I didn't want from a Liam written tune, the way you've written this is purely for reaction. You do genuinely do funny posts but this is just inciting a reaction.

If this song was a forum member, it’d be Beady. Stunk the place out, dog dirt out of ten IMHO. Vapid leftovers.
Still looking forward to the album as a whole though. It’ll be great.

Not really a finished song, it is? Sounds like the usual Liam problem of having a decent start to a song and then just calling it a day. Also really shouldn't be five minutes long.
Shame because the core of the song is pretty decent imo, but as it is it's very mediocre.

Mate, this was already done. My bad, I didn’t see it. I don’t go into the LG or NG sections, I find that part of the forum way too cluttered. But alas, here I am.

5/10, the wrong end of Liam-penned tracks imo Some nice production touches and the outro may make it feel like a passable album track when the record comes out tho

To say this album is going to be “terrible” because you don’t like ONE song is absolutely absurd and if you’re that cynical so quickly makes me wonder how you can be a fan of any music.
For me, Chinatown is one of Liam’s worse solo tunes, yet AYW is one of the great albums ever so there you go.

6.5-7 out of 10 It’s not his best work by any means but it’s alright. I think it’ll flow nicely with the rest of the album. Everything’s electric is still such a banger though, 8.5/10 easily his best first single out of the three

I often find myslef humming it. It's groovy and the production is very good. I like it's longer than the standard pop radio tunes. I would have prefer better vocal. A nice album track.
7/10

I give it 7/10. The production is a bit dangerous (just a bit), and Liam still knows how to strum a guitar it seems.
Nothing grounbreaking, but glad Liam tries to write.
And also feel like an actual song by the guy who is singing it, as opposed to soulless tunes he's been singing for the past 3 years.
