Amuses me how these old musicians who spent decades consuming copious quantities of unregulated illegal drugs are now vaccine skeptics.

They spent decades harming their bodies with those substances, they aren't about to stop the trend by finally putting something healthy in.

Fucking hell, he really does come off as a prize bellend with all the covid chat. I winced again after reading his comments from last year.

At least he took it. So despite his tough comments he's better safe then sorry ;-)

The masonry/illuminati thing with the Gallaghers has been going on for years, of course, well before Covid. I'm sure there are threads here about it -- there are YouTube videos, obsessive twitter accounts, photos of both of them making "the signs," etcetera, etcetera. In all seriousness, there are people who quite literally believe that nearly all famous people are enlisted by the Illuminati -- and are part of a giant brainwashing apparatus designed to control the populace. (It goes on and on as well, with secret anti-aging treatments made from the blood of enslaved children ... basically Zombie Botox.) Crazy, but also modern life is crazy-making.

Noel has thoroughly embarrassed himself over the past year. You know he will think he's clever and profound with his comments, despite his complete lack of understanding.

Yeah but it's not just that, they'd say the same with any other celeb They thought he was "one of them" (which he wasn't, he's slagged them conspiracy theorists off) and now he's been brainwashed or forced to get the jab otherwise they'd shut down his career It's just incredible how they'd completely ignore the idea that maybe someone would just want to take the vaccine with not much thought behind it They live in an alternative reality to all of us

It's because those people feel invincible i suppose. I dont read much what Noel says these days, prefer not to.
Liam and Noel comes from uneducated backgrounds, it was fun in the 90s, not so much now sometimes. Both of them, one about Covid, the other all the time on Twitter.
Got first shot of Pfizer myself, i felt pretty shitty for 10 days i can tell you that !

Its hard to support these brothers sometimes As least they’re not at Ian Brown levels! I mean, if someone thinks it shouldn't be mandatory and you shouldn't see it everywhere on the telly I'm not gonna have a go at him, I kinda understand the point and I believe this whole situation is a consequence of how media and communications and educations have been handled in the last few years (may I say decades) There are actual doctors refusing to give the vaccine or persuading people to not take it, and we've all seen what's happened with the whole AstraZeneca chaos in the press, can I really fault older, maybe uneducated, some with pre-existing conditions people if they're scared of it? He's had his, and he's not pushing any weird shit, that's enough for me

I swear, I don’t think Noel actually knows what virtue signaling means.
Whenever he says shit like that he sounds like an absolute idiot.
Sorry, this could have been a great opportunity for Noel to educate other people: “Hey, I took it. It’s not that bad. This is how simple it is. You do it too.” That’s not virtue signaling. That’s being a decent human being. Instead, he went the selfish route and the idiotic route with the hair comment. And there’s just something morally terrible about it. And either you see it or you’re refusing to see it.

Oh piss off, he didn't even have to say if he had it or not Stop with this "educate people be an example", Noel Gallagher's not changing anyone's view on the vaccine, especially after months of this going on

Dont underestimate words from famous people, they can have devastating consequences. Or positive. It's not because we are all being smart about this on here that all people are. Sadly.

Only people who are talking about this are people calling him a sellout and a brainwashed puppet because he had it, so doubt it frankly I mean, if you gonna go by it his message was actually pro-vax My opinion is that it's his business, no celebrity should feel forced to share it, and I don't think they're enough to educate people on the matter Vaccines and their perception in some countries were an issue way before this, we didn't address it properly and now there's an emergency we're seeing the consequences

Noel is right though. It is up the each individual whether or not to get he vaccine.
But I do think you would have to be an idiot not to get it*. People put too much weight on what celebrities say.
*unless of course you’ve a genuine medical reason not to get it.

Noel is right though. It is up the each individual whether or not to get he vaccine. I dont know…when its about public health. Hell wordwide health, shouldnt it be compulsory ? Many other vaccines are where i live when you are a kid. People werent worried about that before and many deadly diseases disapeared thanx to that. Sometimes you gotta be a team player. People forgot that the way we live now is thanx to group effort in the past. Maybe its time to give a bit. In the end people who refuse to get the vaccine will benefit from the ones that did. To me thats a bit selffish.

To me thats a bit selffish. Are there mandatory vaccines? I dunno I’ve always got what I’ve had to get and never quibbled. I do think people who refuse to vaccines should be denied certain privileges (traveling abroad, entry into indoor events etc.). I think you should certainly make it so that it is a pain in the hole not to get a vaccine but making one mandatory? That’s a serious ethical debate. I think everyone who is medically able to get it absolute should for the benefit of everyone. You’d have to be an idiotic selfish prick not to get it if you can. But I would draw the line at forcing anyone to take it.
