Stunning. Absolutely love every version. Think I prefer these versions of Alright Now and Meadow to the album. Best version of Stand By Me ever? Sad Song... wow.
Really hope Liam does some more of these in the future.

Stand by Me is the highlight for me. Better than the acoustic version at Bonehead's in '97.

Has this got any chance of charting by the way? Definitely. It's number 1 on download charts. Ridiculous sales these days but enough for a TOP 100. Streaming numbers will determinate its final position. I can't say if it will be Top 40...but could be... WMWN sold around 10k on downloads and 6,9k on streaming. Obviously it won't sell those figures, but i think many people will download it as there isn't any physical release. And, for example, last week number #10 sold 5,5k copies

Stand by Me is the highlight for me. Better than the acoustic version at Bonehead's in '97. Easily. It’s not a very popular opinion, but Noel’s backing vocals are shockingly bad at that performance. Also, a verse is cut off. Why?

Also, a verse is cut off. Why? It was broadcasted on that BBC documentary Right Here, Right Now. On the deluxe version of Be Here Now you can find the complete song.

Meadow has always been good in my opinion, but this session makes it shine more. Something about the song is just right. It almost seems like a sophisticated song for Liam, if that makes any sense. I think The Beatles would be proud of that one.

Really hope Liam does some more of these in the future. Live by the Pool is a better version of Stand by Me. Prime vocals, with Noel's backup vocals.

Is there a minimum number of songs that are needed to make a record an album and not an EP? The artwork clearly says EP. Does this make a difference to charting? I’m sure there were more recorded, would there be a specific reason to go with 8? 🎱

My guess was a bonus cd for a new WMWN edition (to push the sales) and 8 songs could have been a fair addition. But..

I’m sure there were more recorded, would there be a specific reason to go with 8? 🎱 If a product contains four to six songs, and has a total duration of 30 minutes or less, it is generally classified as an EP. Therefore, an album is typically seven songs and runs over 30 minutes. However, a three-track release can also be specified as an EP, if the artist or label nominate this as the product type.

Any news on a vinyl release? The album art is so misleading because it shows a picture of a real 45. Just release it to the masses!!!
