Mine is either John Simm or Roger Delgado. Yours?

Oh, and, of course, Derek Jacobi, even if it was rather short, but intense. Brilliant actor and he has always been a favorite of mine.

I love it when two passions of mine overlap. Doctor Who discussion on an Oasis forum?
Like a threesome with Kate Upton and Nicki Minaj.
Anyway, I'm going to go with a draw between Roger Delgado and Michelle Gomez. Roger Delgado is the central character of the Master executed perfectly; the debonair, villainous, unruffled counter-point to The Doctor. Without his incarnation, none of the others would be viable, he is the foundation on which the role is built. On the other hand, Moffat is the only writer who invested in The Master as a character on the same level as The Doctor, giving her a genuine multi-season arc, taking her from the psychotic Mary Poppins to a protagonist who tragically fails to overcome her sadistic instincts. Nothing this ambitious had been attempted before, and if you ask me, the scene in The Doctor Falls in which two versions of The Master kill each other in a timey-wimey murder-suicide, one crying and one laughing, is as rich and emotional a scene as the show has to offer. No other scene has gotten so deep into the character in so creative a way as that one did:
Anyway, as long as you don't say Eric Roberts, you're cool with me.

My father has spent years trying to work him out.
