Found this on the Oasis reddit, very interesting!
One thing, f.ex., Paul discusses Liam's voice and his health condition, saying that even though he is living clean now (relatively) and it can be turned around, it is a long process and the tablets he has to take mess up his voice sometimes.
Nothing necessarily new, but I always enjoy listening to Paul, his big brother's view on Liam is quite refreshing and sometimes hilarious, his Liam imitations. Not much about Noel, but he does say there was a time around 2011/12 when something might have been possible between those two, but that's passed now and no chance.

The accent impersonation gene definitely skipped over Paul and went straight to Noel and Liam. On a serious note, it's a bit sad to hear Paul talk dismissively about Noel/clearly taking Liam's side in the whole thing. I think it just shows that the whole rift is deeper and larger than most people think -- it clearly has caused Paul to take a side as well. I am glad though that Paul acknowledges the real issue even if they got past the personal ones: there is no way they could make as much money together as apart because no promoter would want to pay what it would take, which is basically 2x what each of them makes now.

I've always wondered about this. I mean, Liam & Noel's rift is more or less well documented, and public. But what made Paul take a side? I think the moment Liam started to publicly involve Sara (and Sara answered back) it all went down to the shitter, and I assume (and that's only my assumption) that probably Noel expected Paul to take his side or at least expected to talk some sense into Liam and when that didn't happen..... In this interview in December 2015 Noel still had a relationship with Paul and said good things about him, and didn't seem to have an issue with him (Paul) working with both of them www.esquire.com/uk/culture/a16760179/noel-gallagher-cover-interview/ But by Noel's 50th birthday in May 2017 I remember reading Paul and Noel didn't talk anymore....

Agree 100% that something is off/doesn't make sense about all of this. It's often hard to tell what is going on with all of them because, in at least Noel's case, he has mastered the art of using an interview to spin a certain narrative. That being said, I know that there was friction between Paul and Noel back in the 90's when Paul released his book (which he dismisses in the podcast in this thread -- a bit of revisionist history). I believe that Noel (who admittedly is much more private than Liam) felt that there was no need to put out details about their private lives, but he also didn't stop Paul from doing it. I wonder if Paul's appearance here has more to do with helping Liam hype his upcoming album and therefore we should take his "position" with a grain of salt. Just like Noel, Paul (and Liam) can use the media to spin a narrative. Let's be honest -- people listening to this podcast are probably more likely to be in Liam's camp instead of Noel's and I'm sure that is not lost on Paul.

open.spotify.com/episode/104Un1wPC7krLfTiZTtkNIAnother Paul Gallagher podcast interview. Nothing really new of course, but I enjoy listening to him talking about everything from football, to Ireland, to politics, to Oasis, to Liam these days.
