1. Be Here Now 2. What’s the Story Morning Glory 3. Definitely Maybe 4. Standing on the Shoulder of Giants 5. Dig Out Your Soul 6. As You Were 7. Don’t Believe The Truth 8. Heathen Chemistry 9. Different Gear Still Speeding 10. BE
Some thoughts:
DM, WTSMG, BHN and SOTSOG - Superb. It’s interesting that all 4 were recorded within the space of 6 years yet his vocals are different on each of them. I’d say BHN is the pick of the bunch as he has the power and the trademark snarl but you could make a case for Morning Glory or DM too.
Heathen Chemistry and Don’t Believe the Truth - Massive regression from SOTSOG. Both are ridiculously nasal, although he does still have power in his voice. Love Like a Bomb is horrific
DOYS and DGSS - Always thought of these as the auto tune years. He’s noticeably less nasal than the previous two but had lost the power from his voice.
BE - Jesus. Awful. Hard to believe this was only 5years ago
As You Were - Massive improvement

Note: With SOTSOG in 2000 he had the most beautiful voice ever, mature and aggressive rasp. In DM he had the vocal timbre as a child

My version of events. This is an honest reflection on how it feels for me to listen to the way the voice has been recorded on the album, not to have been at the gigs at the time and not taking into account whether the actual songs were good or shit.
Enjoyable
Be Here Now My personal favourite for me this is the voice that is my childhood with Oasis, rough, emotive, young, raspy, in tune, everything we love in one Definitely Maybe Really hold in high regard the young cocky attitude on slide away and supersonic, miss the raspiness Don't Believe the Truth Love the refined, matured, rough scratchy snarl, epic. The moments he sounded younger like Lyla and Let There be Love actually came off perfectly too. Love the verses on Keep The Dream Alive, chorus vocal sucks though) Morning Glory This vocal is actually so so perfect that I can't actually relate this mentally to the Liam I've known, but it was technically him, so, big respect.)
The Okay
Heathen Chemistry Love the reliance on the snarl whilst sometime hitting the highs, the rough devil may care nasally vocal treatment is great but not done justice with the production, it is annyoying when he doesn't even try hit some of them. The SCYHO is vocal magic though, one of the best moments ...ever. Who could sing that vocal? Nobody else The Masterplan Retains most of that DM / WTSMG sound but a Lite version Liam sounds a bit childish and not menacing enough. Noel shines) Standing on the Shoulder of Giants (emotive and strong, vocal tone a bit caught between two eras though so I'm not really diving fully into young liam or snarly mature liam. Didn't get a chance to hear him exercise his swag really due to shit tunes) Dig Out Your Soul Moderately good throughout but just fails to steal the show at any moment sadly. Not quite hitting the highs enough, not sounding powerful enough, not snarly enough, nor clear enough. Came close with I'm Outta Time but not quite. As You Were Whilst the rockers sound too high pitched and significantly lack any power or snarl, it is nice to have Liam actually hitting some notes properly for the first time post-Oasis. Wall of Glass and Chinatown and FWIW sound really nice and if you asked me in 2005 what I hoped for the future... I would have imagined Liam at this age would sound like this. Good, some hope.)
Not Enjoyable
Different Gear, Still Speeding No crispness. Can only listen to the Roller up to and not including the chorus, the lowest point of alllll time in the Gallagher timeline. Millionaire is a criminal act. BE Has some hopeful moments (start anew) but in each song there is always a part to the vocal somewhere that is absolutely shockingly nasal & dishearteningly bad.
NEW ALBUM: I think his second solo Album will sound better than AYW and will come into the 'Enjoyable' category because he's got his confidence and power back.
