I’ve read some shite on this forum but fuck me; give the boy a break.
Every show is clearly done with 100% effort; he’s sober and drug free. Not sure about after but that’s his own time and his own business.
He’s pushing a hundred gigs since the tour started and will be close to 150 when it’s finished. Add rehearsals, writing, recording album 2, jet lag, sleeping (or lack of) on overnight buses and planes, his thyroid condition, being a father and everything else into the mix and we have a lad giving it everything.
I’m sure nobody wants a gig to go better than he does, he’s 25 years older (tomorrow) than the famous King Tuts 1993 gig; things are bound to change including his stamina and voice. If it’s not good enough for you go listen to fuckin Ed Sheeran.
THE END.

Godzilla bless, more cat pics, thanks and whatever other shite I’m supposed to sign off with 😂

I think anyone who's done a bit of coke in their time will know he had done some before One Love.
He didn't make it obvious but trust me, them eyes arent from a can of red bull.
Id say he's still doing it now and again, and it's been pretty obvious at some gigs how off it some of his band are too, mainly drew.
The jury is out on whether it's a bad thing to still be doing at his age. It doesnt help production or general happiness though so he should lay off it.

His eyes were clear as hell not to mention his entire demeanor did not give off any type of drug vibe (to me). He looked like he had a busy day in Germany and hoofin’ it back to the UK. Let’s give him some credit for knowing that it would have been a terrible idea to show up at One Love high or drunk, whatever. There was a lot on the line there.

Performing to over 50,000 people live on tv, after doing nothing for 4 years, is the only high he was on. Adrenaline. Never underrate it.

He needs about six months off but ultimately this tour that never ends isn't gonna give him that.

It seems like Noel was always very conscious of Liam's limitations; I remember seeing a clip from the 90s where Noel said they couldn't do too many gigs in a row as Liam's voice would go hoarse. Hopefully now that Liam has had a successful album & tour he'll be able to call the shots a bit more next time around. It would be a real shame to see that phenomenal improvement in his voice go to waste.

I think Oasis' final tour was one of their longest - and that was a huge reason as to why they ultimately broke up. They'd spent 12 months on the road. DBTT was around 11 months, and HC was the same. Overall though it's hard to compare as we're in such a different time. The money now comes from touring whereas even back in 2008 there wasn't such a need to do an extensive 18 month tour simply to reclaim the money back. Oasis' longest tour was 95-96, which would have been 18 months had it gone on for as long as scheduled.

This heavy touring worries me. He's not so young anymore but still giving everything and singing with his unique style that obviously takes a huge toll on his voice after each performance.
Like IGF said add travelling and all the other shit and it must really exhausting both physically and mentally. I know fans want to see him; and it's great he can perform to his fans, but the man deserves a break.

He sounded like fucking dogshite. I can't be the only one hearing it.
It's reassuring to know that with proper care and rest he can sound excellent, like he did last year.
But it's equally frustrating to see him making a complete bollocks of it with such a large audience.

I thought the performance of Some Might Say was decent at least, and is one of the tougher songs to sing. I think the voice is still strong enough it's just it didn't seem like he'd prepared that well and he really needs to put that effort in nowadays. Hopefully the new album will have more songs suited to his live voice.

And they're waiting for us, we were supposed to be there a half hour ago. We look like assholes! God bless.

garuntee he was on coke for one love. all in the eyes It might come as a surprise but drugs, especially stimulants, have similar effects as adrenaline in your body. And I'm sure when you're performing to 55 thousand people there's a shitload of adrenaline running in your body. It's all biology; when you're getting ready for fight your pupils dilate, your pulse will increase, etc. Drugs can make all this happen in your normal state but when you're performing to a whole stadium of screaming people you WILL get some of those effects while you're totally sober.Â

he wasn't coked up for One Love
get a grip and stop thinking it's 1996
yeh, i'm sure he still loves a shovel up, but he doesn't do it for the gigs, you can tell, quite clearly
when he's coked up/pissed, he does things like sing with the Foo Fighters

Who knows what Liam does in his private life... but I believe that even if you aren't a fan, you still have to give the man props for his comeback! I don't see it maybe bc I'm not an eyeball drug expert, but seriously give it rest. He hasn't done anything this past year that would warrant a coke allegation. Alcohol.. yes, foo fighter gig. I'm still mesmerized by his San Francisco gig and I've only had that experience 1 other time when I saw the Ramones in early 90s.
It's still astonishing that this coke narrative is still brought up in regards to Liam, but nothing is ever said about Noel regarding drugs or alcohol. It's rather disgusting, exhausting, and flat out bs. give it a rest.
