Trump will almost certainly beat Bernie. But Bernie's the only one who has the "almost". He would definitely beat him in the debates. The question is if he will get the nomination

He shouldn't be re-elected simply because he's a disgrace to various types of citrus fruits. #savetheoranges

I was at the Bernie rally in Tacoma yesterday. I've been to my fair share of protests and political rallies and I've never seen anything as diverse as the crowd of people who turned out. There was everyone from retirees, students, families that brought their little ones, lots of racial minorities (like yours truly), LGBT folks (also like yours truly), rednecks, yuppies, plumbers, healthcare workers, etc. all united by a common cause. In fact I was really surprised how few young people there were. Nevertheless, the crowd's passion was unmatched by any rally I've ever been to and was something truly inspiring to see.
The media, establishment Democrats, and centrists may think otherwise, but I think America is ready for Bernie. He still has a long road ahead of him but he can win. He has the message, the diverse appeal, the energy of support, but most importantly, the fighting spirit. He can beat Trump. I believe he can pull it off. 👍

But seriously, just imagine if any of the other candidates had something even close to that diverse appeal - it would be mentioned in the media until your ears would start bleeding.

The Bernie Bro myth needs to die, and it needs to die fast. All of the Bernie Bro critiques I've seen draw not on statistics, but rather a handful of Twitter fights in the writer's experience. Sorry you were treated that way, but you can't really expect much out of the one website that manages to bring out the worst in everyone. Twitter doesn't represent the US, or Bernie supporters, because Twitter users are disproportionately white, young, and male. So, with that in mind, can people critique Bernie on his policies instead of pretending a small minority represents all of his supporters?

The problem for them is that there isn't much to gain by focusing on his policies, since it only makes him look more appealing. So the "Bro" thing is basically all they have left, and as long as he's the frontrunner you'll only hear more and more of it.

Before last night's debate, I knew who I didn't want to get the nomination, but not who I did. Now, I'm leaning towards Warren.
Just imagine Warren from last night going up against Trump.

If she had decided to be that version of herself from the start, she would have had a good chance at getting the nomination. She must have fired her advisors prior to last night, or it was simply the bad polling that brought it out of her. That, combigned with sharing the stage with a douchebag like Bloomberg. Seeing him crumble was an absolute joy.

I mean Trump did absolutely terrible in all the debates, and it didn't matter. His voters just vote for him no matter the nonsense. That said, it was a good performance by Warren.

Like Hillary Clinton said, no one likes Bernie Sanders.
Well if this is him when he's hated, I'd be intrested to see his numbers once he gets more popular.

Trump is the favourite no matter who gets the nomination. But Bernie is the only one who makes the question even worth debating, to my mind - Donald would wipe the floor with every other candidate by appearing as the rebellious, anti-establishment choice again. No-one wants a b-tech Obama anymore.

No-one wants a b-tech Obama anymore. You're right that Bernie's major advantage is that Trump can't use that rhetoric against him, I think even he realizes that. As to his chances I think Bernie will pull it off, but if he doesn't, at least it won't be as a result of him or his campaign being arrogant or incompetent. They've done nearly everything right so far, and I have huge confidence in the team around him. That is ultimately why I am so positive, they truly are the exact opposite of the Hillary campaign.

He dropped a bollock today though didn’t he? I don't think so at all. A clip from the 80's magically shows up just in time for the last debate before Super Tuesday, and when commenting on it he explains his thoughts perfectly well. And given that people who watched the debate(not talking about media people) seem to have viewed him as the winner(a few points ahead of Biden), I think it's safe to say that this pathetic red scare attempt won't affect his momentum. And that's what needed to happen for his opponents, a draw wouldn't be enough, someone had to properly take him down in the debate, and for people to change their minds about him. But since that didn't happen, it all continues to look very good for Bernie. One week from now he could have the nomination in his pocket! *knocks on wood until knuckles start bleeding*
