One of the reasons why I got into Oasis was that Gallaghers supported City, not United. I fucking hate glory hunters and after seeing Gallaghers were "real" I started to appreciate them even more. Not saying all Utd supporters are glory hunters but supporting City while they were utter shite really showed they cared about the team. It reminded me of the times when I travelled 130km to see my team lose on a cold rainy night in October and then come back home at 3am to sleep a few hours before school 3008 turned up to a game at Maine Rd against Mansfield in 98/99 yet every blue you meet claims to be there A year later they claimed to have taken Blackburn over Obviously there are ones like that who did actually go but there's a reason we call them the liars, even Noel claims to be listening to City on the radio when it was announced Lennon was shot, what around 15 hours after it happened? Simply put... never believe a word that comes out of a City fans mouth

Manchester United are the scum of the Earth. You don't need to be a City fan to embrace this basic fact of the universe. Liam and Noel are just regular fellas on the right side of history. My man

As a non Mancunian I really don't care about either club. Though City always had my sympathy being the "working class or people of the City club", but now I just can't be bothered about clubs that are in Arab, Russian or American hands. Same goes for PSG, Barca etc. Sorry as a Manchchester lad myself I've let the posts slagging United off slide as i'm immune to it after 37 years But that part is rubbish i'm afraid I knew 10 City fans at most before I left, a lot of them are stuck in backwards places like Oldham or Stockport, similarly if you went in to Salford (which is very working class) the majority are United, I knew more Bolton fans than City growing up Go in to Manchester City center on a match day, especially derbies and it is all local United. I know we have fans all over but at no point has Manchester ever been mostly City. Literally couldn't name more than two city pubs in town. At least eight or nine United.
