I like Come Back To Me, but the solo is awful. Totally devoid of any melody or connection to the sounds around it. It's annoying because I think the band nail the song here and I really like what Mike's playing over the outro:
Maybe it's an attempt at doing something as different to the way Noel played lead as possible? I don't know.

To me, that solo is one of the standout moments of the entire album.

That would have sounded much better had he turned his delay pedal down 50ms.

I don't like the song itself anyway.

I don't like the song itself anyway. You're not wrong, but you still need to get a cat..... Thanks.

I think this sounded much better than the version on the record. Whether or not he wanted a more Noel-esque sound, I cannot say but the lead guitar complemented the song instead of working against it.
Maybe it is the sentimentality of the season, but watching this made me feel sad. Liam singing with hired guns and building what looked like an oasis group of players struck me. I have not had an issue with the break-up. The band existed for a long time and moving on is part of life. Noel, however, did enough on his own that it wasn't so jarring seeing him assemble a band.
