In America it goes........ Wonderwall Champagne Supernova Live Forever Don’t Look Back In Anger And it’s not even close. Switch DLBIA with Live Forever and I would agree with that IDK, I watched it unfold in real time. Live Forever was the driving single for Definitely Maybe and drove sales to Gold and later platinum off the success of Morning Glory. It got a ton of video and radio play 1994/1995. When Morning Glory dropped, Wonderwall and Supernova were the big bad radio and video songs. Lasted months. DLBIA was a very minor hit compared to those. Yes in retrospect it has become the bigger tune but when I look back to my youth watching it unfold, Live Forever had the bigger drawing card. I still hear it on the radio. NYC's new alternative radio station has been playing it a lot when I've tuned in. Haven't heard DLBIA yet. But I guess our perceptions are different based on where we grew up and saw.

DLBIA, easy.
It’s been adopted as England’s unofficial national anthem.
Fuck saving the Queen, because Queenie can wait.....innit.

I hear DLBIA 2-3 a week still. Haven’t heard Live Forever since I requested it 4 years ago. I hear supersonic all the time too still. I would say that’s their biggest hit off Definitely maybe here in North America. I lived through it too. I worked at a gas station during those years and would say on the radio Wonderwall, Champagne, DLBIA, MG, Supersonic and Live Forever all day long. Wonderwall was played 2-3 times a hr. Same as CS and DLBIA. WW just drove me crazy back then and still to this day. I wish it was still like that today tbh. Good times. I would also say DGA, DYKWIM and SBM were played a ton too, more then Live Forever. DLBIA is my fav popular song. God bless to everyone who hates me

God bless to everyone who hates me I maybe heard DYKWIM on the radio/tv 7-10 times in my life. After the initial excitement of the return of Oasis it sank fast. Never heard AATW or SBM. DGA did garner some interest but it was too late to save BHN in America. Believe it was a radio single in October.

Then She's Electric for some reason (not that it's a bad song) Yeah, how come it's so popular? I was thinking that it might have been in some movie recently or something...has it?

When Wrigley Field has private events, DYKWIM is actually on their regular mix.

What the hell is this thread even about? Yes the title I get it, but the title is not enough. The title implies its for us to write which one we think is the better song, but the people in the thread seem to be going about which one is more popular... Now I'm not going to give the whole "you guys should go outside xdxd" but which song is more popular doesn't matter. That can change in the matter of 1 internet year. Some kid with no arms and half a leg can play wonderwall with his shoulders and it will get 25 million views and 4chan is gonna track him and make the news or something, then Wonderwall will be more popular than DLBIA, and the same thing can happen with the other of course.
Edit: yes, one can view the example as "very offensive", and even I think it's kind of a bad example, but it's realistic so I'll leave it in. No i'm not a troll.
