I think we are all wanting to hear Liam do it justice in the next gig All that needs to be done is drop it a step or step and a half and it's gonna sound wayyyy better Mate in truth he should drop all songs by half or a full step. Would sound better on average when his voice is tired.

I like it when Liam has notes to stretch for, especially at a chorus. Always been what made him soar and is one of the main strengths of AYW. Yeah but on a record it’s different. He can rest his voice and prepare. During gigging just drop the keys, use capos and move them accordingly. Easy

Nobody wants him to stretch to the point of failure but, you know, generally it’s great to have him reach and the lack of that was a weakness of Beady Eye’s.

Sure but during a gruelling set of gigs he’s reaching for notes he can’t hit. Drop keys a bit and he’ll still stretch but hit the notes.

He sounded way better i thought this time. A little rest really seems to help him so i hope he keeps on managing the voice the best he can. Also the BBC cant seem to mix anything he does right so its norm sounding bad even if its not him. The chorus sounds amazing even if he has a hard time with some of the other parts. Im just proud of him to be trying this songs that are really hard for him and songs we thought we would never see. He couldnt pull this song off when the wrote it much less all these years later. Liam has a point to prove and he is doing a great job. I just wanna here Listen Up now and i know its old but Champagne Supernova would be great to hear again I'm sure rest did have its part in it but mostly I'd say it's thanks to them dropping the key a half step for this performance. Good choice! i must not have s good ear for that bc I didn’t notice. Then again I was just listening on my iphone

Liam should sing "Don't Look Back in Anger" at every gig.

Huh, he sung it again? Found this on Youtube. edit: oh, just seen this posted in his Twitter thread. Totally missed all of that. Is that geezer’s cell phone going off? Put yer phone on silent and show some fucking respect. Top performance, this.

No argument here, brother. Feel bad for the boy. Want him to sound as best he can. For the most part he has sounded the best he can. The odd tired gig comes with the territory, especially given his condition.

If someone told me 2 years ago, heck a year ago, that this would be happening I'd be calling them crazy!

Now he just needs to get the lyrics right The man who to this day swears there's no second verse to Acquiesce? Now you're asking for too much.

For comparison sake. Only audio, because it was 1995. Powerful vocals.

Even better sound. Jesus Christ, HOW is this possible? What a beautiful song. I appear to be unconcerned about some notes being missed.
