Source for these 2 having been around the Oasis camp? JimFour Letter Word was written about Andy getting divorced so that will be after Oasis. Noel only mentioned Millionaire when asked about Andy’s DGSS Songs I think, a lyric was to similar to The Charlatans. Can’t say I have read anything that The Beat Goes On was written or demoed pre-Beady Eye off the top of my head. Pre- Definitely Maybe:Lock All the Doors Standing on the Shoulders of Giants
Revolution Song Heathen Chemistry: The Roller The Morning Son Evil Eye The Good Rebel Don't Believe the Truth: Record Machine Stop the Clocks God Help Us All Dig Out Your Soul
Four Letter Word Millionaire Standing on the Edge of the Noise Man of Misery Everybody's on the Run Dream On If I Had a Gun The Wrong Beach A Simple Game of Genius Freaky Teeth ?Flick of the Finger The Beat Goes On The Morning Son was around in 2004 so that’d be Don’t Believe The Truth. Evil Eye was written after Don’t Believe The Truth. Liam mentioned it in either Select or Mojo before Dig Out Your Soul was released stating it would be on the next Oasis album after that. Wind Up Dream is from around the Heathen Chemistry era. Gem stated it was as old as The Roller. Flick of the Finger evolved from a Death in Vegas track called Velvet Building but was basically just a drum track I think? I don’t have the sources as I lost a lot of info when my old laptop died last year unfortunately. I’m happy to be corrected though!

Didn't realize the Morning Son was that old. What a crime it wasn't on an Oasis record.

Didn't realize the Morning Son was that old. What a crime it wasn't on an Oasis record. The Morning Son as the closer on DOYS in place of Soldier On would have instantly raised the album.

The Hindu Times 2. Force Of Nature 3. The Roller 4. Stop Crying Your Heart Out 5. Songbird 6. Little By Little 7. Thank You For The Good Times 8. Shout It Out Loud 9. Just Getting Older 10. Idler's Dream 11. Born On A Different Cloud What an album would it be. Starts dirty and up beat and slowly goes darker to a perfect end. PS: FFFFUCK Better Man

Best to check the Sound and Vision board for a download, the early years section.

Four Letter Word and The Roller would both have been No.1 singles had they been released on an Oasis album

Amazing how with "over 50 songs" recorded for DBTT or how he always claims to have written about 30 songs in a year or whatever shit that Noel has to resort to pulling out stuff from 1993 demos and all of this.
I dont know why it's cool to say it. It just builds more unnecessary hype and makes people think your other 20 songs must be shit.

I find it genuinely disturbing that songs like Wind Up Dream and Standing on the Edge of the Noise were revisited after a period of years. They're fucking awful. There's not even the excuse of getting caught up in the moment.

If you record any old shit that comes into your head I guess it's pretty easy to build up 50 songs.
