I've seen posts on sites regarding For What It's Being being the most Oasis-y tune on As You Were, as well as like DLBIA, think LG himself said it? Having listened to both tunes, FWIW is too soft to classify as the DLBIA of the album, it reminds me of Don't Go Away, though. I've All I Need fits the bill, me thinks. EDIT: FFS, I didn't express me thoughts clearly, apologies fellas. ( )
What I was trying ask is, which tune sounds more like DLBIA in terms of the meaning, like the words.
I've All I Need, me thinks. The first and second chorus made it like so, but you could argue that FWIW has deeper lyrics.
But anyway, FWIW is underrated. The chorus and bridge explode. Easily would top the charts back in the 90s and early/mid 00s.

Neither.
Don't look back in anger is a huge song. Was once named as having the most explosive chorus. It's their "Hey Jude" moment. It's not only one of their biggest hits, it also got a new meaning with the whole Manchester fiasco and still unites people.
I'm having a bit of trouble comparing that to the most beige of the beige boring albumtracks and a decent song that sounds nothing like it.

Every single time I've listened to For What It's Worth I'm reminded so much of Don't Look Back in Anger to the point that I'm convinced it was a deliberate decision on the parts of Liam and Dan Grech-Marguerat to echo it. Personally, that choice only makes the song cheesier and more cliched, but at the very least you can say that it's Liam's subliminal way of telling Noel to make amends and not "look back in anger". This isn't to say that FWIW sounds anything like DLBIA, but you can't deny that it was trying very, very hard to replicate DLBIA's vibe.

Neither really. But definitely not I've all I need. You could argue FWIW has a similar structure what with a big chorus etc, but doesn't sound like DLBIA

Obviously taken at face value like most will, neither sounds outright like Don't Look Back In Anger.
But if you follow the chords of For What It's Worth's chorus you should find it actually resembles Don't Look Back In Anger very closely.
Every time it reaches "made my own mistakes..." I always find myself expecting the next bit to be "...her soul slides away".

Easily I've All I Need! FWIW just sounds like a generic Oasis ballad wannabe and lacks any real depth. Plus Liam wrote IAIN alone.

I really don't get all the hate for FWIW.
For me its easily one of the best things that Liam has sung on post 2000 and is currently my favourite song on As You Were.
I think its good enough to be on one of the early Oasis albums, and it would have been a stand-out single had it been on any of the final 3 Oasis albums.

I really, really like it (FWIW).
To me it’s the ‘centre’ of the album.

I was surprised how much I liked FWIW in the context of the album, having not liked it when it got released as a single. My main problem is with the effects on Liam's vocal and the strings are a bit hidden. That performance at Howard Stern makes me think Liam could have produced a decent chorus without having to sound like a chipmunk, and the strings on the 'live' video improve the song greatly. Ive All I Need isn't really anything like DLBIA, it's got very standard Liam verses but his best ever chorus. DLBIA is just so melodic all the way through.

IAIN sounds like Coldplay’s Speed Of Sound, or is it just me?

I think its good enough to be on one of the early Oasis albums, and it would have been a stand-out single had it been on any of the final 3 Oasis albums. Its one of those things that if enough people keep saying it then it becomes the truth. Check out any time Heathen Chemistry is mentioned. Every single non Oasis fan i have played it around loves it. Likewise Chinatown, which coincidentally has a smiliar reaction on here but splits opinion more. I think with FWIW, i do get why some would interpret it the way they do because it is an unknown writer replicating a song that only Noel can really nail. Having said that, I think theres plenty of 90s Oasis tunes that if released today, would come without that charm and ora of their time and likewise have the same effect. I think its fair to say songs are sometimes products of their time. If you dont look too deeply into everything then its a fucking strong song and one of the best things post Oasis for me. I think it will go down brilliantly in the upcoming UK tour and alter some opinions on it, after all DLBIA doesnt sound quite as good without 90,000 singing along does it?

I've All I Need sounds like Champagne Supernova like For What Its Worth sounds like DLBIA. So not very much, but same type of idea/song structure/type.

For What it's Worth, obviously.
I don't dislike this tune as much as I used to, but I can honestly say I will never listen to it outside of the context of the album. If the arrangement wa more minimalist (I'm thinking just some dark bass, piano, and loads of reverb on Liam's voice) then it might be better, but as is it's just really, really, really, really, beige.
