It's the biggest indoor arena in The Netherlands. Still think it's a step too high... Yep, don't think Oasis ever played there did they (maybe in 2005??), and I don't think Noel has either. Like the AccorHotels Arena in Paris, it seems that it's usually reserved for the really 'big' acts globally (pop stars and the like). Ziggo Dome is a quite new venue, only a couple of years old. Before it was made, Heineken Music Hall (AFAS Live) was the biggest venue in The Netherlands apart from Gelredome (stadium), then we have Amsterdam Arena as well. Oasis played one night at Heineken Music Hall in 2005 (capacity 5500) and 2 nights in 2009 (5500x2). For Liam this is the biggest venue where he ever plays in The Netherlands. I'm not a fan of bigger venue, I always love to see bands in a venue like Paradiso and Melkweg, but if Liam plays at Ziggo, I'll be there. No question at all.

I cannot see any information in this thread or on his website yet, but it looks like our kid is playing in Istanbul on August 14th. Tickets go on sale April 16th: www.biletix.com/etkinlik/V5A85/ISTANBUL/enAnd it makes me wonder - is Oasis really that big in Turkey?

Anyone been to a gig at Palalottomatica before? The reviews online are slating the sound.

Good to make the most of it. But regardless of pulling gigs due to illness I really just hope there is enough rest to not ruin his voice (long term), but also even if not long term, don’t ruin it short term so the gigs sound shit. If there’s bad tv performances the casual fans he’s won over will soon be lost

Some problems with the Denmark date apparently.
Northside festival has some kind of deal that you won't be able to buy the tickets for Liam's gig before the festival is over (in June).
They will go on sale mid-June.

I never buy drinks at a venue. I always take a bottle of water (secretly) with me. The bigger venues like Ziggo Dome and AFAF Live have own payment methode. You can't buy a drink by cash, but you have to purchase coins for drinks/snacks. I think you'll need 2 coins for a small plastic cup of beer at AFAS Live and at Ziggo Dome you have to pay more.

I got 7 coins with 10€. The first beer (big) I bought was 4 coins and the second cost 3 coins even though I was sure it was the same size I also put another tenner in and bought 3rd beer after the show and they let me chance the remaining coins (not sure if 4 or 3) back to euros which was cool.

Really surprised that Liam is coming to Norway, and not least that he's playing Spektrum in Oslo.
It has a capacity of 10000, and in a country with 5 million residents I will be extremely surprised if he can sell half of it. Oasis didn't sell out in 2009 when they last played in Oslo Spketrum (maybe about 70-80% of the tickets) so they are definitely aiming big.

If you're lucky, you might get a coin with the band's name and the date of the gig on it. I still have ones with Moz and Arctic Monkeys.

Got my tickets for Amsterdam. Just thinking of buying as well. Would be 2nd time travelling to Amsterdam this year I've been travelling quite a lot recently... If I'm going to Dam and moving to Glasgow I'd have visited these countries in 1.5 years time: Netherlands x2, Scotland x2, Albania, Kosovo, Hungary x2, Greece, Montenegro, Italy, Estonia, Latvia, Sweden England (x2?). Can't fly to Scotland straight so I'd stop in Norway or Denmark too Also thinking of making a small trip to Ukraine, Poland or Balkans in the end of the summer with my mates All that is cheaper than it looks on the paper btw! I'm not loaded lol For example, Helsinki-Budapest-Kosovo-Albania-Montenegro-Sweden-Helsinki trip cost only 160€ on flights and about 10€ per night on hostels!
