Supporting in the UK - no way. He’s too big for that now.

Definitely see a chance for this at least for the Manchester date (not the whole tour). He won't play stadiums on his own so why not if he's not playing somewhere else on that date. Would be a real special guest + City stadium, he's mates w. Foo Fighters and all that.

We know how Liam feels about Noel supporting U2, so I doubt he would like to do it.

Foo Fighters are awful. Rock for men with company cars who wear band t-shirts bought from Topman on dress down days to compliment their boot cut jeans and tan shoes.

Nothing wrong with going to a Foo Fighers gig. They are no Stones or Guns 'N Roses but definitely a proper night out. Can have a bad word about most of their stuff. Definitely see a chance for this at least for the Manchester date (not the whole tour). He won't play stadiums on his own so why not if he's not playing somewhere else on that date. I think we are talking the same no a classic support act, of course.

Although by now I think Foo Fighters have enough great songs for a concert. I've never listened to their albums but I had some Greatest Hits CD and I enjoyed that. I remember at the time my 3 favourite bands were Oasis, Nirvana and Foo Fighters and I couldn't honestly tell which one of them was my favourite. I hadn't fully discovered Oasis though so I didn't realise how great band they actually were. I think WTSMG alone was enough to put them in top-3 and DM secured their place as my no.1

Rumours in the press about this - do people have any knowledge about the truth of them?
