I think this is part of the way there, but that there's more to it; listening to the song again, the beginning seems to be Am, then a quick G chord, before going into F; the song continues in this vein of chord structure, and the chorus also seems to have a 4 chord burst at the end of it, but I'm struggling to work it all out - am really keen to play this

I'll look into that if i have time later, usually those tabs are half perfect, you have to adapt a bit.

that tabs is a bit wrong, here is a quick adapt, it sounds better when you mute the B and e strings when open
intro something like Am(00221x) Am variation (30221x) Am variation (10221x, stay two times on this one) D7sus2 Fmaj7 G Fmaj7 G Am. There's two guitar to achieve the intro properly.
Verse: Am Fmaj7 D7sus2 Fmaj7 G
Chorus : Fmaj7 D7sus2 (not G) C C/B Am
End of chorus (trying to make the scene): F G (open like 3200xx same on the whole song, not like 320033)
then the rest on the tab seems ok. Probably needs more work but sounds close enough.

Chorus doesn't start with Fmaj7, starts with D7sus2 in to Fmaj7.
