What do you think? Will Liam top the Beady Eye results (66,817 / 34,552)? Will he come close to the Noel numbers (122,530 / 89,110)?

I expect Liam to do at least as well as the Killers. Barring their last album, the Killers have never had a UK release do less than 4X platinum in the UK, and every single one of their albums have sold at least platinum. However, Liam has had a really long pre-order. I think he'll put 65-55k.

60,000. Records are a dying breed, and LG doesn't have the same recognition as NG.

It´s really hard to tell because as years go by, less people buy records. I´m sure he will do number 1 but because of what i mentioned earlier that does not mean he will sell even as much as Beady Eye´s first album. It´s only been six years since both Gallagher´s first released stuff outside Oasis but a lot has changed in the way people consume music since then. Has nothing to do with the quality of this solo work in relation to Noel´s, it´s just the way the music business is now.
We need to analyse those sales along with streaming to get the total picture because the later is a much more relevant factor now.

Do what you can to spread the word. Twitter, Facebook, amazon review - tell the world what to listen to this week! As for the first week number, everything north of 60,000 is a good result in my eyes. More than 80,000 would be great, more than 100,000 insane!

60,000. Records are a dying breed, and LG doesn't have the same recognition as NG. Not so sure about that matey. Paraphrasing a 90's journalist here, but Oasis fans may like Noel's tunes but they came to the gigs dressed as Liam.

I'm going to put my neck on the line and say he could outsell HFB. Spotify may ruin that chance however He'll easily outsell NGFHB's third album because Noel is going all experimenting on our asses. Traditional NG album would still shift a higher number than Liam's....Noel has crafted his persona better post-Oasis.

i'm actually expecting 60k in pure sales and an additional 15-30k in streams minimum.
This is the first Gallagher release to benefit from streaming's impact on the charts and Liam's entire comeback had a viral impact not many likely expected or anticipated.
100k is a tall order but definitely not impossible.

I expect 60.000-70.000 even if that seems very high these days. I ll be happy with sales around 50.000 and a #1 position. its hard to tell when you see foo fighers and the killers sales
i also expect to see FWIW back in the charts. its climpin fast (itunes)

I really don't know what to expect. He must have a shifted a shitload of gig tickets inside about ten minutes, if a good proportion of them buy albums too then it could be seriously good numbers. A number one is the minimum I'd expect.

Well, everything above 60.000 would be a very good start. Excluding Ed Sheeran, best first sales this year are 117,101 for Rag´n´Bone Man, and next is 68594 for Stormzy.
The thing is that seeing twitter, instagram and all the buzzing in social media, probably Liam is gaining a lot of casual-non die hard fans sales...so maybe he suprises everyone here and there and he get over 100000. We´ll see next friday! on Monday, with the first sales updates we´ll know how this is going on

With more than 50,000 copies sold the first day, 80,000 seems to be the minimum now for week 1.

100k plus easy. Number 1 easy. I have said it before but he is mainstream again and I'm loving it! Warner Brothers label does have alot to do with this success though.

Poll is locked now. It will be exciting to see if the new album ends the first week between 90,000 and 100,000 - or if it crosses the 100,000 mark...
