Couldn't listen to Rockin' Chair there, murdered it. I think he probably decided to do these songs back when his voice was in shape. Sounded like Beady Eye era vocals The problem is Liam cant sing different when it's a softer song. He's attacking Rockin Chair like it's Cigs and Alcohol. But it's not. I think someone should tell him that. And to change his musicians, they are fuckin awful. You nailed it! It's nice to see someone else that understands what the problem is. People just immediately assume his voice is messed up but no, the problem is he yells too much and doesn't relax his voice to a softer tone, specially with songs like this.

If you ask me, it was a bold and brilliant move attempting Rockin Chair. Maybe he didn't nail it, but he was damn near close at points. And NOONE expected him to be able to make that good an attempt in 2017, he did well.
Some Might Say, however, was beyond fantastic. What a comeback for that song.

Yeah, lovely interview. You can see how the difficulties he had in recent years have made him appreciate it all more.
