Full 1080p HD official BBC upload clips coming online now - hopefully we'll get Rockin' Chair. Nope - looks like they're just uploading one and a half songs.

He absolutely nails Some Might Say. It completely shits all over the Superdry performance.

I thought he sounded a bit shit on TV but pretty decent on radio. The different mixes are weird. Agree. I listened to the gig on the radio in the car and it was absolutely mega, band and Liam sounded great. Watch the videos back and the mix sounds shite. Live on the radio sounded ten times better.

I’m crazy because I didn’t like that performance of Rockin Chair but people say that his voice sounds just like it did 1995 on this version and they’re not? A single person made the claim that it was no different from 1995. No one ran with it. On the other hand, we have you claiming it was "atrocious", which is just as unworthy of credibility. What do you want for shitposting, a cookie?

This gig made me realise we don't need an Oasis reunion.

I noticed something during this performance. Even if he's completely out of tune(Rockin Chair-for the most part), his voice still sounds good. Out of key or out of tune, it doesn't annoy me(unlike Yoko's voice). Dya know what i mean?

Tired and raspy, but yet, thousands times better than his standard level during the last 15 years. Almost unexpectedly great. Take care, good Liam, rest and control yourself during/after gigs.

Rockin' Chair just didn't quite work for me. It's too high for him. Simple as that. Drop it a key to Bb and then he might have a chance.
Having said that I'm DELIGHTED he at least attempted it. But he had problems with it in 95, so why he thought he could do it in the original key now...baffles me.

I’m happy with the state of his voice- especially the radio version

Just listening to it now. Tired yes but still really good. His voice really does seem to be improving consistently as this tour progresses.
I wonder if it's because he learned new singing technique before the tour started and it's improving with practice as he gets more confident in using it and is putting more power into it as he is losing the fear of his voice breaking down. Like a football player overcoming the mental scars of a serious injury.
Rocking Chair is fantastic btw. A little strained towards the end but nothing to worry about.

Though I think he really did it for the fans and because it really is an iconic song and so long forgotten live. But, now we know (though we always suspected) why it was never played, it's just too difficult to sing.

I might be the only one that likes his super raw, raspy voice. I’m glad he doesn’t sound like a kid/young man now. I love this current voice of him. Of course, I can hear his younger voice was higher but his current lower voice with its rasp is more pleasing to my ears. So I actually could do without SMS for example, and give me Bold anytime, a song suiting his voice perfectly. And I hate that they polish his voice on the recordings, why the need to take away the best part?

Great concert, happy he could make it at this level after so many gigs in the last couple of days.
Shame that BBC took it off the air half way, judging from the comments on Twitter, lot of people were watching who could not been bothered one hour (and third time) later.

Just listening to Rockin' Chair from last night again. It's an incredible performance considering he struggled with it in the 90's.
I doubt we'll hear that very often in the set, probably at Manchester but unlikely anywhere else considering how hard it is to sing.
His voice does need this week off after tonight though.

Just looked at a few of the vids. My god he murdered Rockin' Chair! Leave that one alone in future.
Some Might Say sounded a bit flat too.

I honestly think he can do rockin chair on a different night. He was just a bit tired. Nothing else.

I can't believe he's doing 'Some Might Say'!!
I thought we'd definitely never hear that live again. He doesn't quite nail it but he done a really, really good job with it considering it's in it's original key and he deserves MASSIVE respect for attempting it. It's a difficult song to sing for any 45 year old.
Such an improvement in his voice. Imagine him attempting it on the DOYS tour or the last Beady Eye tour... Christ!!
