It is a great box set, Klaus Voormann print as well which is a nice touch.

No CD, no tracking link in email. Remind me why this system is better than record stores again?

I'm in Canada and ordered the vinyl through Warner's Canada site and received it yesterday, the 5th. Didn't get any sort of shipping confirmation or indication it had been shipped, it just showed up. I went to my local Sunrise Records (formerly HMV) to pick it up, had told them earlier this week to hold one for me, and guess what...it's not there. There are no copies of the album in store. The chap working there knows I'm always ordering stuff and did his best but its so frustrating when their computer system doesn't cooperate. The vinyl I'd ordered from an independent shop apparently hadn't shipped yet. So I went home album less. There wasn't another shop that would have had it. I had it on iTunes from last night due to preorder but lately I've been having trouble putting music from the computer onto the iPhone. I know how to do it of course but it's just not working. And my CD burner still needs to be replaced. So I listened to the album on the laptop computer. It really was not the best way to listen to it. In the end I got to listen to it and I hate to be all "first world problems" here but...seriously, what the FUCK is up with this nonsense??? In this world of precarious physical music releases, who can afford to massively fuck up the distribution of a record, especially one by one of the biggest voices of the 90s?? This is even worse than the staggered UK/US/International release dates. This is the age of the internet! Sooo disappointing. There is no feeling like walking into a record shop the day of a big release and picking up your treasure to go home and listen to it. If I wasn't such a serious fan, I would have just downloaded it, end of story. If they want people to still buy records, they need to do a much better job than this. Next time I think I will do what you did and order one version through the post, in the slim hope it arrives on time, let alone early.

Is there anyone on this forum who pre-ordered the album (box set/LP/CD) from official store and got it yesterday?
My box set didn't arrive yesterday, on the release date while they sent me an email that my order has been shipped on Tuesday. I wouldn't have pre-ordered via official store if it's not for the box set. They charged a ridiculous amount of shipping charge as it will be delivered by a courier.
Good good people from Liam HQ, What's the point to let fans to pre-order via official site while you can't even deliver it on the RELEASE DATE? (yes, I know you're reading this place).
I'm gonna pick the CD from my local record shop today because they never let me down unlikely official store.

Patience is becoming more of a virtue this days. Of course, stores fuck up some times but once they get the item to the carrier, they don´t control when it´s delivered. It may be a day earlier than the estimate or a day after, but it will come, just have a bit of a patience. I´m more than used to ordering things from Amazon and more than once they did not meet the estimate. Sometimes i got the item earlier, sometimes a day or two after, but just keep calm and do something else.

They rarely have new releases on the shelf the day of release; its mostly always a week after the album is out that they have it.

I ordered from Warner Music Canada. I received the deluxe album in the mail on Thursday; I have not received the deluxe vinyl set yet. No email, no confirmation of shipping, nothing. Very frustrating.

It said on the website is was packaged as a hardback book so expected what it is. I’m sloghlty disappointed because it did say “box set”. So I thought that was that, with he hardback record set inside and all the additional stuff loose in the box. I was gonna put the wall of glass 7” in there as well. It’s not bad, but I do think it’s slightly overpriced now. A box with deluxe hardback record set and book, extra single, poster and actual cd with its case was what I thought I’d get. Oh well...

Sorry your disappointed, not sure how much you paid but 49 quid for the CD, 180gram colour Vinyl and 7 inch EP isnt over priced in today's boxset market, it's good value when you consider the LP was 20 odd quid on its own. I think the set looks really well put together but that's just my opinion. One small thing for me is the CD without anything around it but I'm still pleased with it.

Vinyl itself is about $20, CD is about $14. So the rest of it for a print and the booklet doesn’t justify it in my opinion. I still like it, but it’s worth around $35-$40 in my opinion
