Really Excited for the upcoming UK tour and have been thinking of which songs I'd like to hear Liam perform so thought it would be interesting to see what everyone else thinks too.
I've made my ideal Setlist below for a bit of fun with some of my favourite songs and thought 18 would be around what he would do, there are far too many classics to fit them all in! This is just my opinion of course!
1. Rock N Roll Star 2. Wall Of Glass 3. Greedy Soul 4. Supersonic 5. Bold 6. Paper Crown 7. Don't Go Away 8. For What It's Worth 9. Songbird 10. Start Anew 11. Universal Gleam 12. I Get By 13. I'm Outta Time 14. I've All I Need 15. Stop Crying Your Heart Out
16. Champagne Supernova 17. When I'm In Need 18. Live Forever
Think it would be cool to see what your ideal setlists are as we will all probably think of some that others forget!
Cheers guys

Most of the new album plus 6/7 varied Oasis tunes. Abstain of absolutely anything Beady Eye though.

Stop Crying Your Heart Out is very wishful thinking. He could not sing all that well when the song actually came out, let alone now. And i don´t trust the guy in the backing vocals enough to compensate for some less power in Liam´s voice, he´s not Noel.
The rest of the set list is pretty much spot on mate i like it. And i have no problem with one or two occasional Beady Eye tunes, but only the most known ones like Four Letter Word or The Roller.

To be fair I was looking through all the oasis songs and wondering which ones will be possible with his voice at the minute and do agree about stop crying your heart out, songs like that and she's electric, all around the world and some might say might be tough for him! Yeah I did like Beady Eye and those two would sound good for sure

I like the idea of Be Here Now starting. Seeing it at Gmex, earls court and the like. It was just immense.

1) Be Here Now 2) Wall of Glass 3) Greedy Soul 4) Some Might Say 5) For What It's Worth 6) Bold 7) Rockin' Chair 8) Listen Up 9) I Get By 10) You Better Run 11) Headshrinker 12) When I'm In Need 13) One of the songs we haven't heard yet... 14) Slide Away 15) Rock 'N Roll Star --------------------- 16) I've All I Need 17) Champagne Supernova 18) Live Forever
It would be good if he had say 8 extra songs that he could rotate in and out as he pleases. For example:
Universal Gleam (not one of my favourites but it can't be all Oasis songs!) Chinatown Morning Glory (only not in my ideal setlist because I'm a bit tired of that and RNRS now) Bring it On Down Supersonic Round Are Way Boy With The Blues Soul Love

As long as he keeps Rock n Roll Star, D'You Know What I Mean and Be Here Now in the setlist, totally open to any and all Oasis plus whatever solo tracks he plays.

I'd like him to move RNRS to the last song before encore and open with Hello instead. Rather than list the exact list I want him to play a good selection of new stuff obviously, then oasis- in no particular order some or all of these:
Rockin Chair Listen Up Round Are Way Columbia Supersonic Live Forever Hello RNRS
If he wanted a BE then FOTF

heres a list of songs i would love for him to put in his setlist, some of these would sound amazing with his new and improved vocals
four letter word lyla (he fucked every rendition up during the last oasis tour and his voice wasnt in the best shape in dbtt, this will be absolutely amazing if he did it in manchester or something) outta time (his voice was fucked during the last tour so we never got to hear a great live version of this awesome song) my big mouth (this would be awesome regardless of whether he lowers the key, i personally love the anger in the 09 versions) man of misery (the most underrated song sung by liam imo,i dig these kinds of dirty, rough and hard rocking tunes like greedy soul) flick of the finger (i dont believe he ever sung this well) soul love (absolutely awesome) hindu times (miss hearing this) bring it on down (miss hearing this) fade in out (one of the best cocaine songs of all time live, will be missing noel's guitar tone but i would love to hear this sung again) dont go away (tender as fuck, prefer this to wonderwall) go let it out stop crying your heart out let there be love (never done live, but with liams improved vocals this could be a pleasant suprise for the fans) shock of the lightning (never sung it well on the last tour, a shame cuz its mega) lock all the doors (true oasis fans would love this) i got the fever scorpio rising (PLEASE)

Champagne Supernova would be great but not sure if the band could do it justice.
Columbia would be great, Gas Panic too but again, not too sure about the capability of the band.
But overall, who cares? Liam is releasing what is shaping up to be a great album, he's touring again, getting good publicity and he seems to be in a happier place again. And with a new Noel album round the corner too, it's all good.

I hope he sticks to doing the rockier Oasis songs, plus Live Forever and Wonderwall. Just think he is in prime rock n roll form rather than ballad. Columbia and Bring It On Down would be ace, plus another Be Here Now era tune or two.
