For me, the resurrection is on and anyone who disagrees with this poll is wrong. Innit.
Voice back to early 2000s, if not some glimpses of 90s performances.
Passion is back.
Cool haircut and iconic image returned.
And he doesn't give a fuck, alright.
Fuck the Stone Roses, Liam Gallagher is the resurrection.

I can´t really say he´s back because the voice will never be like it once was. But with this being the best mix so far at Reading, i can clearly say that his voice right now shits all over both Beady Eye´s tours and the DBTT and DOYS tours as well.
It´s not a voice that can be compared to any era because he still sounds different to the early 2000´s(it´s raspy on Wonderwall for example, but it´s not on Rock N Roll Star although he delivered the best performance yet of that song since he went solo at Reading). I sometimes see similarities to the very early DBTT tour voice but a lot more clearer and he holds the notes a lot better now.
But he had a low point at Chicago and i expected the voice to start going down but it went back up and delivered his best performance yet last night. I guess whatever he is doing to treat hoshimoto is working.
God bless.

The resurrection is def on he sounded mega yesterday, the power is back I'm starting to get the sense his passion for the music is back in business and that's always a plus

I don't give a f*ck about his so called 'best vocal' 90's era, its all subjective. I prefer 2017 to 1996.

The next interview noel does I really hope he gets asked about liams current voice I'm curious to see what kinda answer he gives cuz as much as he'd like people to know that he doesn't give a fuck, us real fans know that's total bs

The magic of 94-97 isn't going to happen again by anyone let alone Liam Gallagher - the songs, the voice, the social impact.
2017 Liam Gallagher is the absolute best case scenario and the improvement is really tangible.

He can hit the notes, now he needs to practice sustaining them.
Cheers.

It is on, man. His voice sounds good so far, the charisma is still there and the songs are the bee's knees. However I wish he would be able to keep hitting those high notes in succession. In each and every performance of, say, "Morning Glory" he is right on point with " All your dreams are made", but " Another sunny afternoon" is always a bit sloppier. Same with "Wall of Glass" - " mean to be unkind" is right on, but " see what's in your mind" and " stones you throw" just don't reach that high note. Yeah, a lesson on sustaining the longer/higher notes would be a good thing for our kid. That's just me sitting on my ass and analysing everything from the comfort of my couch. If I was to see LG live, I would be blown away no doubt so take what I say with a pinch of salt

To me, the music he is putting out with As You Were is pretty much right up there with 2000's Oasis. Not legendary or perfect tunes by any stretch (like the 90's stuff is for me) but tunes that I genuinely enjoy listening to. I couldn't exactly say that about Beady Eye.

Three Ring Circus should be played. Better than 90s oasis imo

Just watched Reading again, he really did fucking nail the Oasis songs. Its hard to explain but he seemed to be a strange vibrating thing with his jaw when singing some of the longer notes that I've never seen him do before, I don't know if anyone else noticed it, is that a technical thing?

I don't how old you guys are but I'm still in school and I'll tell you one thing, the kids are fucking loving it. Well, the ones who know about Oasis anyway. Liam is the coolest guy in UK music today. Supersonic is being belted out at house parties. It's all good.

This is new for him so maybe that's what he does when he holds his notes.

Definitely the best he's sounded since 2000. Yes, + 1 on this. I've be listening to greedy soul and For what it's worth in heavy rotation. Great voice and the guitars on greedy soul sound absolutely filthy. Esp that black/white YouTube version with the dude getting chased.

I loved his Reading performance. But am I the only one who thinks he sounded out of tune on For What It's Worth? I skip it listening to the bootleg...Top on Bold and Universal Gleam though.

Chinatown and Wall of Glass alone are way better than everything on BE, that's for sure.

Still not blown away by Chinatown but i think some of that was the disappointment after hearing Wall of Glass, excited as anything to hear a second song and then it was Chinatown. But a lot of 'non fans' seemed to like that tune so its good to have a bit of variety. Happy as hell the albums great, the festivals have been well received and lots of good press. All good

All good Yeah absolutely agree with you. Liam's killing it if the album goes to number 1 that's just icing on the cake. To be honest, start anew is one of my favourite songs of all time no joke it's one of the few songs and I've listened to a ridiculous amount of music that I would give a 10/10 rating too. Music is so subjective
