Diagnosis was nine years ago? Okay, didn't know that, thought it was recent, has he only recently started treating it then?

It's always funny to see when Britons are pretending that they are not Europeans It's ridiculous. And I say that as a Brit.

I just thought the same: 9 years ago was in 2008, yet he still had serious voice issues while he was in Beady Eye. How come he never mentioned Hashimoto's disease before to explain why his voice deteriorated? I doubt he patiently waited till 2017 when a journalist finally dared broach the subject. Also, if you're diagnosed with a disease, you usually immediately start taking the medicine to cure it, but the way Liam talked about it in previous interviews sounded like he was diagnosed more like two years ago & started the treatment recently, which explains why his voice has improved since he started his solo career.

It's always funny to see when Britons are pretending that they are not Europeans It's very easy to refer to people in continental Europe as European. It isn't meant as a derogatory term in the slightest. I think it's very fair to say Britain has always been treated very differently to the rest of Europe for one reason or another and the feeling is very mutual. I wouldn't say it is a display of arrogance like is being hinted in this thread.

This one is just clearly Liam actually not knowing what the fuck Europe means other than that he is British and it's somehow connected. Let's face it.

I just think he was saying he views himself as English. Which is fair enough, i don't know anyone who refers to themselves as European.

I wouldn't read too much into it is all i was say saying. We're all Eearthopeans anyways.

I may be in the minority but I thought his voice held up pretty well during the first Beady Eye tour and there was a definite improvement on a lot of the latter day Oasis gigs which suggested he was doing something. With BE, I think we get a worse impression because there was very little pro-shot stuff with that MTV Ibiza and one of the British festival disasters being smack bang in the middle of his kid/divorce issue. He was all over the shop then. No doubt he has been managing himself better this time round and possibly the dosage of his medication has changed, but I think the timeline of 9 years makes sense.
