Bonehead's Bank Holiday was supposed to be before Some Might Say if I recall correctly.

Ok, lets say you are right. Add Lets All Make Believe on SOTSOG. Does that really change the fate of that album? Probably not. This is another big Oasis myth. Nothing was saving that album except maybe 5-6 new songs. Shit, I think all USA edition came with a bonus CD containing Lets All Make Believe. I know mine did. Guess what? Didn't make it sell better or worse. Adding that song literally changes nothing. All Oasis fans got that song in early 2000s anyway. Its not like nobody knows it. I've always felt this way. Let's All Make Believe is a quality tune, but it's not exactly a Wonderwall or Champagne Supernova in that you could wrap an album around it and have a classic. This album came on the heels of band members leaving and Oasis falling out of the general populous collective conscienceness. Add to that the darker tone of the record and you have the forgotten middle child of the Oasis catalogue. The magic had left at this point. They weren't hanging out as lads anymore. When they went to the studio it was all about the "business" of making music. The result is an album that lacks most of what made Oasis such a draw in the first place.

100% agree that LAMB wouldn't have altered the success of SOTSOG, Oasis didn't fit in during this time and they needed big singles to make an impact, LAMB wouldn't have made a difference
However as Q magazine said 'If LAMB was on the album we'd award it another star'. Place this instead of Put Yer Money.., Little James or ICSAL and it elevates the quality so much more. Not because LAMB is a Champagne Supernova but because compared to the aforementioned three it is in a different league, lyrically, sound and melody wise. That on SOTSOG and the album is probably a lot more critically acclaimed

What's the best source to read up on the DIV sessions? Or if there is no source, anyone able to answer these? Were the songs DIV versions of what we got on DBTT, or were they songs that have never heard the light of day? How far were they in the process before they got scraped? Anything surface at all of these? Even like a 10 second muffled recording? In 2008 ten DBTT demos/outtakes were leaked online along with the live version of Stop The Clocks, but apparently they weren't from the DIV sessions. You can read the topics from the time of leak here and here, and hear the songs here along with some other outtakes/demos from that era. Back to the topic: High Horse Lady and Ain't Got Nothing were earmarked as B-sides. They were included on the final tracklisting because Liam didn't record his vocals for songs that were supposed to be on the album. Or that's what Noel said... Thanks! Always thought that these versions of Record Machine and Ain't Got Muffin were better than their finished versions. Would one day love to hear a Liam vocal on Record Machine. I'm sure its out there. You can't give me a reason, I don't need one to shiiiyiiiiinnne would be great.

I've got an interview from Noel in 2002 or 2003 talking about fiddling around during the solo for The Roller and he did the Hindu Times Riff and Gem asked him what thats about. I feel like I read somewhere that The Roller was written in the late 90s before Gem joined Oasis. Anyway that would've been interesting to have on any of the last few Oasis albums.

They planned instrumental interludes in-between the songs for BHN & DOYS: "I had written about eight separate pieces about a minute long that were going to come in after each song. But because the songs were so long, we could only get 74 minutes on the CD and we would have had to make it a double CD then the record company would have started charging ridiculous amounts of money to buy it."Source

Noel had abandoned the DIV sessions because he thought that the songs at the time were too "songy".
