Here you go guys i was working on this for the last hour or 2 since i havnt seen anyone else do this. This is Oasis at The Itunes Festival 2009 and Liam at Glastonbury. Its amazing how much better his voice is now. The one thing about the 2009 show is he had Noel to help his voice out in some spots and Glastonbury he had no such help. Also i made this so you can compare the bands to see how different Noel preformed the song compared to Liams band. I hope you enjoy! If you guys want me to do any other songs let me know. Im working on Wonder Wall but i want today's performance and cant find it yet so it will have to wait till tomorrow. Let me know what you think! It starts with the Glastonbury show till about the 1 minute mark and after that it goes back and forth

I know it had to because he knew he sounded bad but just couldn't admit it to himself or anyone else that he was done.

This version today has been one of the best I've heard him sing in general. It starts around 30 minutes.

This would have been a better comparison regarding the DOYS tour because he was pissed as fuck in that performance, it´s like he stopped caring and shouted in every fucking song.

He was severely pissed off at the crowd when he was hit with coins and started to rant about students with pointy shoes. He missed large chunks of certain songs as he prowled the stage while Noel continued to sing backing vocals, noticeably on My Big Mouth. It was also pretty close to the end of the band, the atmosphere was shite with him and Noel so that's more the reason he is angry.

I never understand why people throw shit. Your going to watch a show not be a dick and ruin it for everyone

I don't think that performance was really representative, he never sounded as good as that gig again, where as now he's singing like this every night, picking a bog standard performance from that time is better imo. On a side note I don't think he sounded too bad on Slide Away there in that performance, I heard much worse vocals from him around that time, his voice is definitely much better now though.

I agree with you, it´s much better now but i think it´s a better comparison. That iTunes video was not very far from when they split up with close to a year of touring. While this Slide Away was just before they went touring so i think it´s more comparable, even in terms of how tired he is and because he actually sings, while in the iTunes version he only shouts, nothing more, the video of the performance makes it obvious. What shocks me is that he´s actually improving with each gig, when it should be the other way around. Even in songs like D´You Know What I Mean he seems to be gaining power with each gig.
