Let's all be honest.
Noel is the Greedy Soul Liam is talking about.
It's almost "How do you sleep?" level of obvious hate at Noel:
The first verse speaks for itself:
This part is ALL about the break-up of Oasis and Noel talking shit about Liam causing the split:
Lies about the end of Oasis...!
Basically Liam saying, it's a long way to fall from grace when you're on such a high perch but you're full of shit like Noel.
and, Liam saying he's still the fucking man "I got the Midas touch". Liam will never give up on Oasis, he's still got the Rock n Roll spirit in him and it will never die, he Don't give a fuck, alright?
etc etc
It's obvious. Not sure if anyone already said it but there you go.

I Don't think so. The lyrics "kiss and tell" makes me think otherwise, that the recent difficulties he had in his personal life are the inspiration for this song. And tbh I don't see Liam writing these kind of lyrics about Noel.

I fucking love the lyrics to this.
Its the song Liam has been attempting to write for so long and hes smashed it with this.

Some of the lyrics could well be aimed at Noel or maybe the bird he got pregnant.
Anyway I love the live version to this, sounds mega.

Obviously Chinatown is Liam's coming out song. There are loads of gay bars near Gerrard Street and he's asking to be shown around them. And that "Happiness is still a warm gun" line? Blatant penis reference.

Yeah, I don't see it being about Noel either.

Ignition.
But seriously it doesn't matter if the song about Noel or not. It could be about his mum, his ex-wife, ex-ex-girlfriend, it could be about everything and nothing. Looking forward to listening to this song live.

Looking forward to listening to this song live. True. Just seems odd Liam is always talking about Noel being money focused etc. In fact didn't he even call Noel a greedy soul on Twitter? I'd have to check it to make sure.

This whole writing about Noel nonsense needs to stop from Liam.
Don't Brother Me and the like are so fucking cringeworthy.

Initially I thought it was about the bint he got pregnant but I've come round to thinking it's about Noel and (more interestingly) his wife.

But seriously it doesn't matter if the song about Noel or not. wut? You're not curious at all about what's behind the most aggressive song Liam's ever written?

If you're going to write a critical song about Noel, at least make sure it's a good song!

Greedy Soul is another coming out song:
And it's a long way down (Liam's going to hell) When you're the wrong way round (for being homosexual) And that was all too much (but the sexy time was very good) I got the Midas touch (Liam's milkshake brings all the boys to the yard)
