Bill Shankly, Bob Paisley and Kenny Dalglish are undoubtedly three of the greatest managers in Liverpool’s history. This new DVD celebrates their achievements and we have two copies to be won. Courtesy of Granada Video/VCI. These three men shaped the Reds into the world famous team they are today leading Liverpool in over 1500 matches between 1959 and 1991. Liverpool were a second division side in 1959 when Bill Shankly took charge. He won promotion in three years and picked up the Division One title two years after that. He led Liverpool to two more Championships, two FA Cups and a UEFA Cup before leaving in 1974. If Shankly laid the foundations of Liverpool’s dominance, Bob Paisley put the final bricks in place. Under his guidance Anfield saw six League titles, three League Cups, the UEFA Cup and, most famously, three European Cups in the trophy cabinet. Kenny Dalglish managed to win the League and FA Cup double in 1985/86 - his first season in charge. He also oversaw two more Championship wins and an FA Cup before sensationally leaving the club in 1991. ‘Liverpool Football Club – Great Managers’ is available now with the video priced at £19.99 and the DVD at £29.99.
