I've just read his full answer (dammit, mossy , making me click on all these NME links!), and it's much more personable and fluent - and, well, interesting - than I expected it to be. He was probably just relieved to be talking about something other than debt and Brexit and humanitarian crises in the NHS, but still... Now contrast this to May: I know she's got to talk about very dry things like the military and transport links in this example above, but christ alive, there's just no warmth to her at all; she's a fucking robot mechanically spewing soundbites. No way is she good enough.
