Arsenal have been fined £175,000 for failing to ensure the proper behaviour of their players during the 0-0 draw with Manchester United, while full-back Lauren has been banned for four games. The Cameroon star has also been fined £40,000 for violent behaviour and improper conduct, while central defender Martin Keown has been handed a three-game suspension and a £20,000 fine for violent behaviour. Skipper Patrick Vieira has been fined the same amount as Keown, but banned for just a single match for improper conduct, with Ray Parlour also ruled out for one game and given a £10,000 fine, also for improper conduct. England full-back Ashley Cole has avoided a suspension, but has been fined £10,000 for his part in the flare-up towards and after the end of the Old Trafford encounter on September 21. The FA's Disciplinary Commission have ruled that all suspensions should be served with effect from Monday, November 17, with the Gunners also warned about the future conduct of their players. haha.. cheers . www.nationwide.co.uk
