Leeds United's loan midfielder Salomon Olembe says he would love to join the club on a permanent basis. The 22-year-old Cameroon international joined the Whites on a season-long loan from Marseille in the summer and is clearly enjoying his time in England, despite Leeds' poor form. Olembe told skysports.com: "I am desperate to stay in England and I hope to stay at Leeds. "There was a clause in my contract when I signed for Leeds to sign me permanently in January. I would love to stay here and I hope Leeds take up the option." Of his, and a number of other loanees' futures at the club, he added: "I am sure we can turn things around once we are given time to settle at the club. "Peter Reid has been fantastic with us and everyone at the club is 100 percent behind him." www.nationwide.co.uk
