Leeds United boss Peter Reid admitted that his team were fortunate to be in the draw for the third round of the Carling Cup after their penalty shootout victory over Swindon Town on Wednesday.
Reid's side were 2-0 down in the Elland Road clash and needed a last-minute headed goal from goalkeeper Paul Robinson to send the tie into extra time before winning the shootout 4-3.
"I have been in football a long time and nothing surprises me," said the relieved Whites boss.
"Whatever you say, that's entertainment. I had an overcoat on tonight, but I didn't need it because I got a bit of a sweat on.
"We were chasing the game and we've conceded more goals, which is a bit of a concern to me at the minute, but we've showed great character to come back.
"(Ian) Harte has got us back in it, and then it's Roy of the Rovers stuff from Paul going up in the last minute.
"It was a great header from a great cross and that's what we are in this business for.
"I'll have to say we are fortunate to go through, but those are the rules and we are in the hat for the next round and that's the most important thing."
